  1. Past hour
  2. These recoveries take time. Some are able to come back quickly, some make longer. I hope he can continue to improve and get closer to the player he was before the injury. He's done everything right. If he wants yo come back, he should be welcomed.
  3. Oregon is waayyy more at risk of a huge injury than a loss in that game. They will look to get second and third string in as quickly as possible.
  4. The argument can also be made for Notre Dame and Miami.
  5. This schedule is wild to me. Just needed to vent a little more. Going to go drink my sorrows away...jk but it does suck.
  6. I think it was that gritty 14-7 fourth qtr come from behind win over 1-11 Georgia State that did it. Ten of their 12 wins were against teams that didn’t have a winning record. Can’t make this up. ND, BYU, Texas, Vandy, Utah, Michigan, USC fans etc have to be shaking their heads. The committee successfully angered a ton of fans.
  7. No doubt and it’s just brain dead idiotic
  8. Bama lost at home to an Oklahoma squad we held to no touchdowns. They just netted -3 yards rushing to Georgia. And now we have to watch OU v Bama again. Ugh.
  9. I almost would have preferred to see ND over Bama. There is no world in which Bama deserved to be in over Texas. By almost any possible metric, Texas is the better and more deserving team.
  10. They're basically treating JMU's schedule the same as Texas or Vandys SEC schedule. That's just wrong on so many levels. The system is essentially broken.
  11. Yep. Strength of schedule means little to nothing.
  12. Because all it takes is for one of those bench guys to develop into a really good player and it's worth it. Plenty of examples of that happening across CFB.
  13. Today
  14. This season's outcome by the committee is actually worse. Unlikely to see an upset by JMU and Tulane while TV ratings favorites/Blue Bloods like Texas and ND are sitting out. Never thought I would like the former final 4 or 8 better. Hell, even the old BCS system was more interesting. It's not basketball and thus the chances for "Cinderella" upset victories amount to zero. CFB CFP is FUBAR.
  15. We dog walked both Oklahoma and A&M… Alabama gets embarrassed by Oklahoma and Georgia… and is in with 3 losses. Texas is the most hated team in college football. We went from the most overhyped team in pre season to the most under rated(though slightly manic) team in the country. SOS… sending out an SOS! It should matter. I root for the little guys but having James Madison and Tulane in the playoffs is a joke. As money floods in the class of college football is eroding into the same poopoo the NFL has become.
  16. Sort of happy there was chaos, will force everyone to rethink things… the system is definitely not setup correctly.
  17. I'd like the committee to be able to change seeds to avoid rematches as much as possible. Swap Bama and Miami, Tulane and JMU. Punishes the 1st match loser. On the plus side, no ohio state/ Indiana rematch until the title game, though Indiana will probably face the Ducks after the NIL bowl if they beat Tech. And, maybe that's how ND was dropped (head to head Miami loss along with an Aggie matchup).
  18. i'm just glad ND didn't make it. i'm glad I was wrong about that. whoever said if DUke won, they could be left out--props to you!
  19. Strength of schedule meant zero to this committee.
  20. Need conference divisions again to make it more black and white or no CCG.
  21. They are telling you they only care about the W-L column. Sark better not lose to Ohio st in 2026.
  22. CCG margin and play with loss should matter. Close loss shouldn't matter IE OSU and Indiana
  23. Playoff committee is a joke right now. BYU above TX is nonsense. Alabama’s not been playing great football for several weeks; hope they get dog walked. James Madison & Tulane, come on, what are we doing? Simply expanding to 16 isn’t the fix unless this other crap gets fixed as well. My .02.
  24. I hope Oregon beats James Madison 100-0.
