  2. Offer watch today ... A number of top prospects from the NFL Academy visited Texas last week as part of a group. Texas made a couple of offers to young OL's, including a 2028 that is said to be a future "first round draft pick". OnTexasFootball is hearing the Longhorns are expected to offer at least two 2027 DL and LB types today, or this week. I have been advocating for Texas to make a move to recruit top international prospects for a while now, and am very excited they brought a big group to campus and have begun this process. The raw talent is a hand picked best of the best scenario with NFL Academy. They have a number of future pro's making all the college campus stops. In the 105 scholarship day and age, taking elite level athletes that are raw and sponges to coaching is wise. Especially on the DL and OL. They also aren't NIL recruitments, at this point, and are truly looking for opportunity without unrealistic expectations.

  3. Today
  4. Gerry you’re right on exposing the hypocrisy of the THSCA…I said this back in April the association bends over backwards to fellate the likes of McGuire and Traylor every summer. As son of a longtime coach and a longtime coach myself, It makes me sick.
  5. How is he in the HOF with a DUI? I'm all for rehabilitation, but this is more than just a mistake. It could have potentially taken a life.
  6. This is super odd. I am not shocked that the court issued the injunction due to irreparable harm which was always a possibility whether you agree with it or not, but then the court appears to be "standing in" for the NCAA and rules on how the punishment should be assessed. This is quite different from saying the NCAA doesn't have the authority to do something (like regulating paying players because it violates other laws).
  7. That certainly helped. I'm thinking that's a result of making sure Fox had the ball.
  8. I’ve always liked Sunny Dykes, he’s saying exactly what we all have been. Love the coward Yormark’s approach to hide behind meetings with people to discuss before we make any decisions. What’ve you been doing there Brett, watching the match and not realizing you’re the ref? You’ve got coaches AND ADs at multiple schools in your league speaking out against this and you don’t even seem prepared. Pitiful, not surprising, but truly pathetic.
  9. Biggest difference was Spurs didn’t turn the ball over last night, especially late to close out the game. Spurs had 8 TO’s last night. Great # against a quality opponent 16, with too many late in game two.
  10. They took the ball out of his hands much more tonight. Fox was primary to close out game too That’s the way they need/have to play… Castle will be better if he’s not trying to always force and then turn it over as a primary too much of the time - just not who he is as a player. Castle will be at his best as a tough, strong mentality, hustle player that can attack from wing and make plays being around the ball off the ball. If he isn’t trying to be a team runner decision maker a high % of the time, it will free him up to be the player he should be IMO
  11. Castle played well. Spurs guards in general did much better job of penetrating, which helped free Wemby on the roll. Biggest difference is that Wemby finally outplayed KAT, although only 8 rebounds is still rather anemic.
  12. We know he will be making lots of money due to the high price of Gassos.
  13. I am not sure I can remember a school making a decision that blew up so quickly and negatively like this. Crazy.
  14. Spurs took the ball out of Castle’s hands much more tonight than the previous two. super smart adjustment. But hand may have been forced in reality Castle needs to be okay with the player he actually is, and go try to maximize that long term. It will actually make him a better player in the long run
  15. Wemby dirty AF
  16. JT Gasso is on staff at OU. DJ is going to Tulsa from Arky
  17. 24-8 free throw advantage in the 2nd half on the road while playing defense that would get you thrown out of Rucker park for assault.
  18. This series is starting to have that 1977 feel for me, when Bill Walton's Portland Trailblazers dropped the first two games against a powerful 76ers team (Julius Irving, George McGinnis, Daryl Dawkins), then swept the next four games to win the championship. Not saying the Spurs will win four in a row, but they could certainly win a seven game series. Spurs are really young and they came off a very emotional and physically draining seven-game series against OKC, so it looked like they just weren't quite ready for those first two games. But if they get it rolling they could definitely beat the Knicks. Not predicting anything, but I find it funny how the national media overreacts, like saying the Knicks were going to sweep after game 2.
  19. Just dropped some portal notes.
