I'll go see him next week. If Texas has a spot for him, yes.
-
@CJ Vogel you think Walker ends up in the Texas class?

Hard to establish true market value with a small data set and looming lawsuits for denials. It's going to take a few more years to work itself out.

Put 15 pounds on him and get a John Riggins diesel.

We need a guy named Jett on the team. I also wanted that guy named Tank.

....should be another variable of stimulation for our team. Players want respect and it appears we aren't getting any against Georgia. Kirby strikes me as that punk in high school who got away with everything, because his dad was on the School Board. Notice how he walks on the field, and argues with refs. He is treated differently than other coaches.

In all practical terms, isn't NIL now almost totally unregulated? Aren't we truly in the twilight zone? I haven't heard of anyone's NIL being turned down for being outside of "true market value."

Baylor AD and CFP Chairmen takes leave of absence
MJW2327 replied to Rocky P's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Just because it wasn’t related to the sideline incident doesn’t mean it’s not related to the root cause. This type of thing smells of alcohol. The hypocrisy at a Baptist school like Baylor knows no bounds. And before anyone says that this is a jump-to-conclusion presumption, isn’t that the point of a thread like this, speculation? -
Won't reclassify based on a conversation earlier. Sarkisian stopped by a game last week. Ohio State is the clear leader. TexasA&M a big threat as well.

Expected to stay in 2027. As Jeff pointed out ... the All-Star games have become combo senior/junior due to NIL, not wanting to risk injury, more kids graduating HS in December and passing on the games NIL "agents" are definitely pushing back against their seniors playing more and more

Just heard @Bobby Burton state his concern about them now sneaking Utah in the playoffs. Couple that with anything associated with Arky not liking Texas. We are skating on thin ice with 3 losses if we drop another game. The Big 12 deserves no more than 1 or 2 teams but it wouldn't surprise me a 3rd now. Makes winning out even more important for us and OU. -
I can only assume that you are a younger man than I. Let me bring you up to speed. When Duffy Daugherty was head football coach, MSU football adopted the Nascar Philosophy......"if you ain't cheatin, you ain"t tryin". Lo and behold, football played for a Natty. The entire athletic department then embraced the concept. Here you can insert football, basketball, gymnastics, et. al. It is now cultural. Probably a 3 hour credit course. UM, on the other hand, stayed with low level, under the table stuff. You know, the standard way of doing business in college athletics up until NIL. Just small stuff kept under the table. One final thought: MSU, or course, isn't the only culprit. There are others, but the Spartans seem to be solid in their long-term commitment. Bros?: If you rearrange the initials, you get SMU.................is that weird, or what?

Baptists don’t drink. So no, just no. -
She's a junior, on the women's side, the pro league money is not like it is on the men's side (Caitlin Clark's league salary is 70k), I think for most superstar athletes in college with NIL will make more than they do in the pros. Unless she's got a major endorsement deal that would require her to go pro in order to get it, it's likely she'll stay for her senior year. Throw in that if the WNBA goes on lockout because a deal can't be reached and it makes a ton of sense for her to stay for her senior year. Maybe even do graduate school like Harmon. Separately, my guess is that Harmon wasn't going to go very high in the draft, if drafted at all, in which case she'd make more money with NIL than going pro last year and thus returned. To answer your question though, eventually, most likely Crump will take Booker's place as main scorer, though Booker has elite scorer traits so it likely won't be a one for one.

Neto is going to have a similar story. Disappointing that these guys don’t realize the unique opportunity they have. Very few people have the physical gifts to get this opportunity -

Not a bad idea. That would certainly keep the ball rolling in Waco. I like predictability.
