  1. Past hour
  2. Y’all still day dreaming a possible way into the playoffs, Huh? Cope with we are not going to make it and it won’t hurt as much when we don’t next week.
  3. you don't want Texas to make the CFP so you can save your hair. I get it
  4. Texas and CDC must not go quietly into the night. Do not let the weak and the timid guide Texas!! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  5. There should be public accountability. Make it happen with an open press conference!
  6. Now tell us about OU and aTm being ranked ahead of Texas, please! How is that done?
  7. I actually think it is the chaos you can control versus the chaos you can not control. Committee can control this years teams but not universities cancelling their impactful non conference games in the future. They do this and unlikely to have great games in September.
  8. Yes they broadcasters are the ones who need to intervene and demand that the Committee fulfill it to duties responsibly. They have millions to lose by allowing the incompetence of the Committee to advocate for mediocre less competitive OOC schedules. The broadcast rights holders can correct the Committee's incompetence with a few well placed words of advice.
  9. Yeah, those Head to Head results do not matter to this group of professional pundits and biased amateurs. They are focused on killing marquee matchups and thus diminishing the interest in CFB OOC scheduling and the revenue it generates. What is even more sad is even many on this forum are taking the knee and endorsing the Committees incompetence! Schedule push overs to keep the loss number minimized!! Where is the Committee's accountability being demanded, CJ?? Now the weak and the timid must be followed!! See any problems here?? 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  10. A bad agent for sure is a leach. A better way for me to phrase it would have been “all players should have someone in their corner advising them”. It’s become very complicated with NIL.
  11. Come on overreaction!!! Let’s just get rid of BYU and Utah and the G5 and ACC “champ” autobid crap and we’re in. Miami might chirp but they don’t really have a deep fan base like Texas nationally that would travel or make as much noise. Vandy knows they’re at risk because they lost to us. Honestly I’d rather see Miami get in over ND and keep them out and us in. ND losing to ATM and us beating them plus SOS and playing in a difficult conference should negate the ND argument. I know it won’t, but it should.
  12. Good call on that. I suppose I mean someone in their corner advising them. Hopefully this agency is trustworthy for them.
  13. That should be self evident. OOC scheduling changes are happening already. Sark threatened to drop OSU NEXT year. If you think the committee isn’t hearing it already from ESPN, I’m not sure what to say.
  14. We will see how it plays out.
  15. Do we need a WR1 given how deep we are in that room or would the money be better spent elsewhere like OL or LB?
  16. I get it. Even losing a stupid game, we’d be safely in the CFP if we’d played Rice or Colorado State.
  17. The A&M win is the biggest win in all of college football this season. With this golden ticket in hand, the CFP could put us wherever they choose and have the A&M win as justification should there be any backlash.
  18. Agents are like leaches, very difficult to rid oneself of them when they serve no purpose.
  19. Lincoln Riley has turned USC into a ferocious paper tiger. Made of premium Dunder Mifflin stuff. USC is the Mizzou of the Big10. Stays ranked even though they can’t beat a serious team. Solely for the purpose of Big10 teams/Notre Dame saying they have an impressive win. The Big10 and Notre Dame should hold a day of mourning and remembrance when USC finally parts ways with Riley.
  20. Good info. Thanks for sharing. I'd caution against blanket statements, however. They actually shouldn't have agents if the agents are going to take 15% of rev share. At that point, I'd shop myself and just hire a contract attorney to review and advise for about $1-2k instead of the $15k+ an agent might want.
  21. You're BS all the time.
  22. If we can afford him i'd love to have him obviously, but to me there's more pressing matters to address. I'd be more than fine if we get a P4 guy with production that is "underrated" and that is in a contract year. It seems to be working out well for Texas.
  23. I like Coleman, but as an SEC school dealing with revenue share you have to ask yourself if spending 3/4 million on WR is the best move IMO. I think if he enters he'll go to B10 school who's willing to have a WR room of him and a bunch of JAGs.
  24. Signing with a new agency is usually viewed as a posturing position. These 3 Longhorns signed with the same agency this season: Trey Owens - publicly signed* 10/12 Ryan Niblett - publicly signed* 11/12 Colton Vaskek - publicly signed* 11/28 **publicly signed with agency meaning they could have been with them before, but it was not posted until listed date Niblett getting new representation makes sense and it doesn't necessarily mean he is leaving. But he will likely be looking for more money/opportunity (as he should). The other 2 I would say are gone. Agency IG: @liftsportsmanagement This is neither a good nor bad thing btw. All of these guys should have agents. https://www.instagram.com/p/DPuHzUJATcK/?igsh=emxiM3diMHR5c3pt https://www.instagram.com/p/DQ-b1TPEQL-/?igsh=d3NwY3Rqcm1mOXRm https://www.instagram.com/p/DRqLM5lEjaT/?igsh=c2FoN21yNHB6djU5
  25. Even the Governor is piling on. Love it.
  26. I agree cause it shows an example where a top ten program chose the easier route to avoid the complex situation we found ourselves in. interesting to see how this plays out for sure
