OTF Premium Discussion: All-time clutch Texas moments

I was in the student section when Eddie Phillips hit Cotton Speyer to lead the comeback against UCLA at Memorial stadium in 1970. One of the best situations of grabbing a win from a dire situation. -

I got to see them a few years ago with Chicago. Jardine’s son sang most of Brian’s parts at the show, but he wasn’t too shabby.

Best ever. ...and I get the feeling that it is one of Craig Way's favorites as well.

Probably a guy who could only set foot on the Ohio State campus carrying a tray or a garbage pail. -

This one is my all-time favorite. Of course us older guys remember that game and how difficult it was for Texas to come back and make two scores in the 4th quarter to pull it out in Fayetteville. That pass had to be perfect. Arkansas's coverage was excellent. James Street had the clutch gene. To this day I'm still astounded that we actually pulled that completion off. And hats off to Darrell Royal for having the guts to make a call like that in the midst of that pressure. I'll never forget it!
