CBs injury usually takes a few years 2 or 3 to recover from if he recovers fully. It was a miracle he was able to play this season with any productivity. I would be very hesitant to short sell this young man imo. I would def give him 1 more year before making a decision either way. Multi-ligament injuries (PCL/LCL): Significantly longer, potentially over a year for high-level athletes, with lower rates of return to prior performance, especially for pivoting sports.
-
If he wants to try to get him some self found NIL and graduates from UT you welcome him back as RB4. This dude was almost unplayable this year and didn’t break one tackle.
-
Definitely wasn’t fully recovered this year, the question becomes: will he ever return to his pre-injury form?

I agree but as RB4 at best. If he can accept that role then I'm glad to have him back if not then the portal is right there.

The women's teams will need to carry the load again this year with football missing the playoffs (except for Swimming & Diving where both teams need to, but the men will be favorites for the title). Softball will be expected to compete for a championship, not sure where baseball will be, women's bball expected to compete, doubt it on men's bball (after watching Virginia take them to the woodshed), so far volleyball looking good. -

A TOTAL JOKE! Texas should definitely be ranked ahead of byu, nobody dame, miami, and bama. Given the opportunity, Texas would have clobbered blo u and e atm e again. Playing jm and tulane are basically byes for organ and ole piss. IF the Texas Longhorns had been properly placed in the playoffs, they would have made it to the Peach Bowl OR possibly the Fiesta Bowl. I predict Georgia will beat Indiana, but most fans across the country will not care. The CFP selection committee is a JOKE, and EVERRRRRRRRYBODY knows it! Strength of schedule matters so much more than the rest of their 🐂 💩 criteria! Hook'em! 🤘🤠 🇨🇱 -
Agree if Oregon gets healthy they could be a sleeper. Bama redemption against OU, and then Indiana should be fun

Beat Florida, love my horns but gotta own it in a must take care of business league. - Today

This has become a business, injury prone while coming off of a major injury is bad for business so i am hoping portal.

These recoveries take time. Some are able to come back quickly, some make longer. I hope he can continue to improve and get closer to the player he was before the injury. He's done everything right. If he wants yo come back, he should be welcomed.

Oregon is waayyy more at risk of a huge injury than a loss in that game. They will look to get second and third string in as quickly as possible. -

The argument can also be made for Notre Dame and Miami. -

I think it was that gritty 14-7 fourth qtr come from behind win over 1-11 Georgia State that did it. Ten of their 12 wins were against teams that didn’t have a winning record. Can’t make this up. ND, BYU, Texas, Vandy, Utah, Michigan, USC fans etc have to be shaking their heads. The committee successfully angered a ton of fans. -

Bama lost at home to an Oklahoma squad we held to no touchdowns. They just netted -3 yards rushing to Georgia. And now we have to watch OU v Bama again. Ugh. -

I almost would have preferred to see ND over Bama. There is no world in which Bama deserved to be in over Texas. By almost any possible metric, Texas is the better and more deserving team. -

They're basically treating JMU's schedule the same as Texas or Vandys SEC schedule. That's just wrong on so many levels. The system is essentially broken. -

This season's outcome by the committee is actually worse. Unlikely to see an upset by JMU and Tulane while TV ratings favorites/Blue Bloods like Texas and ND are sitting out. Never thought I would like the former final 4 or 8 better. Hell, even the old BCS system was more interesting. It's not basketball and thus the chances for "Cinderella" upset victories amount to zero. CFB CFP is FUBAR. -

We dog walked both Oklahoma and A&M… Alabama gets embarrassed by Oklahoma and Georgia… and is in with 3 losses. Texas is the most hated team in college football. We went from the most overhyped team in pre season to the most under rated(though slightly manic) team in the country. SOS… sending out an SOS! It should matter. I root for the little guys but having James Madison and Tulane in the playoffs is a joke. As money floods in the class of college football is eroding into the same poopoo the NFL has become. -

Sort of happy there was chaos, will force everyone to rethink things… the system is definitely not setup correctly.
