  1. Past hour
  2. Sadly dont have hope u have to be above ND to be in cause bama is not going to be punished
  3. Committee’s love for ND VS A non-con schedule against household name teams
  4. Notre Dame is still -300, they would need a lot of movement.
  5. All i care about is ALL of our secondary coaches sticking for year two of continuity because that’ll help with how incompetent they looked at times this year.
  6. Also OU IMO. After all we kicked their ass at a neutral site.
  7. We've moved into position behind BYU in odds...the one in keeping an eye on is Notre Dame. Texas has a great argument to be in over notre dame and that would send the biggest message to not schedule cupcakes
  8. If we are fortunate and get in at 11 which is what would happen, there is a real chance of a Texas v A&M rematch at Pyle. 6v11 seed
  9. Baugh wouldn't come to Texas, even if he jumped in the portal. He's more likely to head back to Georgia than move even further away lol.
  10. IMO there is a chance that the committee does what it absolutely should do (to incentivize OOC matchups) and they treat us as a 10-2 team that beat a cupcake instead of losing to Ohio State. In that case we have a higher ceiling than #12. Obviously my faith in this is not terribly high.
  11. Did he make lsu wr rotation? Everyone knew about him coming out of HS in Texas due to his speed but don’t believe we ever really pursued him. Just because a guy is fast doesn’t mean he can play Wr.
  12. Usually means heavy money is coming in for Texas so the odds are decreasing in value so the house is less exposed or a potential leak from sources that Texas has a much better chance to get in than originally anticipated. The movement bodes well for Texas as far as the line and odds.
  13. Odds makers are hearing things…
  14. Vegas is giving Texas a better chance to make the CFP the higher the “+” number the lower the odds…you’d like to be in the negatives - Texas’ number keeps coming down
  15. It will be impossible to get in if we’re 13. Bama and BYU losing would only open up 1 spot. 11th and 12th spots are going to autobids
  16. I've been a Neal Brown fan for a while. He's been at the forefront of what I've called the hybrid spread culture in football, where you can run a modern, wide-open offense with heavy personnel.
  17. Can’t imagine Scott would go unless it’s encouraged by Sark or it’s an OC title
  18. Miami is +820 to make it, so maybe Texas doesn’t have a Miami problem - Vandy’s odds are worse.
  19. same stuff happened in 2023 the year we played Washington.... vegas is no joke
  20. Early in the season, Brown had some impactful moments with the offensive staff. As Texas looked to gain a rhythm in the red area, I was made aware that Brown put his fingerprints on a few areas of the Texas offense earlier in the season. This was a good hire from Sarkisian, a former head coach who had a clear strength in the running game. Texas benefitted this season as a result of Neal Brown.
  21. I thought he had 3 years left?
  22. UPDATED CFP Odds, per FanDuel: Alabama -950 Notre Dame -400 BYU +390 Texas +590 Miami +820 Vanderbilt +7000 Texas will be ahead of Miami and Vandy tonight. They may even be ahead of BYU but the hopes aren’t dead at all. We need Tech and UGA next week and obviously blowouts would be helpful.
