  1. Past hour
  2. I am hoping Earlywine he does not come back.
  3. From the OP’s article: “In January 2026, court records revealed that the charges against Calicut had been dismissed. When asked about Calicut’s football future at the time, Quanell X said, “He will be leaving for Georgia soon.” Instead, Calicut ultimately signed with Georgia Southern, signaling a final pivot in a recruitment journey that took several dramatic turns.” I bet that was an interesting conversation when they contacted Georgia about the move in date.
  4. Who will be the Chendall Weaver type guy? The spark, hustle, energy, 5-tool player? Is Freeman the one?
  5. Did yall see that international player that was selected in the last round of the nfl draft without ever having played football before? https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/eagles-drafted-player-never-played-014000838.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAN7n2R8O_khtJyENF06zkEbd6v9WZp5TlyLZT_sDGv7SrARBkPY_RHw6ioQsuGEEqXTnB_DU01J4A1wOubUWXC_eZXumEmrwwy9ocQgQDaPdtCmmIkDLgYuYYvAQUyLE_wklUoWfhu25Tg5-THBHcK6MiJXT5iVpyGYkZgFKQGUE
  6. I was a bit surprised too. Hope there’s a silver lining in all of this for him
  7. I hope the kid can truly get his life together.
  8. Cody’s just trying to save college football 🤣🤣🤣
  9. Completely agree on recruiting international players. Low risk, high reward type of scenario.
  10. Today
  11. I'm surprised there is a college coach willing to take him on.
  12. California offensive tackle commit Amaziah Siale (Mission Viejo, Calif.) is set for an official visit to Texas for June 19-21, per Jordan Scruggs. 6-6, 330 pounds Siale earned an offer from Texas last week. Siale committed to Cal two days prior to earning an offer from Texas on June 4. In that same timespan he's added offers from LSU and Alabama, and looks like there are more to come. I can't find junior film on him but all of these offers are from camp workouts, so he's passing the in-person eval. https://www.hudl.com/profile/18351763/Amaziah-siale
  13. Offer watch today ... A number of top prospects from the NFL Academy visited Texas last week as part of a group. Texas made a couple of offers to young OL's, including a 2028 that is said to be a future "first round draft pick". OnTexasFootball is hearing the Longhorns are expected to offer at least two 2027 DL and LB types today, or this week. I have been advocating for Texas to make a move to recruit top international prospects for a while now, and am very excited they brought a big group to campus and have begun this process. The raw talent is a hand picked best of the best scenario with NFL Academy. They have a number of future pro's making all the college campus stops. In the 105 scholarship day and age, taking elite level athletes that are raw and sponges to coaching is wise. Especially on the DL and OL. They also aren't NIL recruitments, at this point, and are truly looking for opportunity without unrealistic expectations.
  14. Gerry you’re right on exposing the hypocrisy of the THSCA…I said this back in April the association bends over backwards to fellate the likes of McGuire and Traylor every summer. As son of a longtime coach and a longtime coach myself, It makes me sick.
  15. How is he in the HOF with a DUI? I'm all for rehabilitation, but this is more than just a mistake. It could have potentially taken a life.
  16. This is super odd. I am not shocked that the court issued the injunction due to irreparable harm which was always a possibility whether you agree with it or not, but then the court appears to be "standing in" for the NCAA and rules on how the punishment should be assessed. This is quite different from saying the NCAA doesn't have the authority to do something (like regulating paying players because it violates other laws).
  17. That certainly helped. I'm thinking that's a result of making sure Fox had the ball.
  18. I’ve always liked Sunny Dykes, he’s saying exactly what we all have been. Love the coward Yormark’s approach to hide behind meetings with people to discuss before we make any decisions. What’ve you been doing there Brett, watching the match and not realizing you’re the ref? You’ve got coaches AND ADs at multiple schools in your league speaking out against this and you don’t even seem prepared. Pitiful, not surprising, but truly pathetic.
