I don't know about us getting blown out, but Georgia OL is good, they have a good run game with two good RB's. Some good WR's and TE's, plus Stockon is playing his tail off this year. Defensively they aren't the Georgia of years passed. LB's are great/elite, DL is pretty meh compared to what Georgia has had and the secondary is banged up. Personally think we lose but get blown out? Not sure about all that. The boys need to get out there and play their best game of the year if they want to prove people wrong. There is no doubt that this secondary is a concern.

This was way outta left field . And Texas is his 3rd commitment and second within a month?

There is an element to evaluating why things do or don’t go well. You say excuses. I’m telling you it is an attempt to gain an understanding of how it developed, why it developed. Then when evaluating the upcoming matchup it is asinine to use for comparison a game that has dissimilar characteristics. Replacing an experienced safety with one who has very little experience is such an example. Replacing an experienced CB with one who has very little experience is another. Nevermind the fact that your statements were completely wrong. Because in the end it’s about matchups. I am ok with Georgia passing for 400 yards if we win 16-13. I’m also ok if they score 31 and we win 34-31. Do you notice a theme? -
Ehhhh about Mateer. He gripped it just fine. I watched him in warmups at the game and he was zinging the ball. The pick he threw to McDonald in the end zone was caused by what is what between his ears and not his thumb. He made a number of great throws in the first half as well. Whether he should have come back and played or not is no excuse for them losing the game. He made the decision and they lost. We outplayed the criminals in every aspect of that game.

Who is that? -
One could say the talent was also never minimized…

healthy most of the game where at the time Pavia threw for career high, gave up nearly 400 Yards to miss st, gave up 250 yards to a true freshmen qb in his second game ever. Our best conference game was against a QB coming off thumb surgery. You're Hastag, aren't you?

they are right until we prove them wrong. This is the same team that played UTEP, Florida, Kent and Miss St or has it really improved both physically and mentally? Too many bad game for me to just think we are that much better now. if people take the BO glasses off, its easy to pick UGA over Texas by 10+. -
The biggest key to this entire game imo is getting off the field on 3rd downs and not allowing multiple extended drives. That means PK or Akina whichever is responsible for how the secondary marries the front line. If they are gonna be pressure heavy or blitz alot they Can Not play off of receivers so far that it allows easy completions at the line to gain. This is and continues to be my biggest concern followed by OLine consistency and improvement.

Manny missed UF. They had 1 dude score twice with 100+ yards. Who covered him? Taaffe missed all of Vandy. McDonald missed the last 3 quarters. We blew a coverage. We blew 4th and 19. MSU. They did well, had a dump off for 65. Taaffe missed the entire game. Boley played versus us last year. It was his 3rd or 4th start this year. - Today

Texas ranks 84th in opponents pass yards per game. Thats not good. We were fully healthy when a 1 legged Lagway threw for nearly 300 yards, healthy most of the game where at the time Pavia threw for career high, gave up nearly 400 Yards to miss st, gave up 250 yards to a true freshmen qb in his second game ever. Who are you? Give me something about your history that indicates anything but arrogance. I don’t need you to come along and tell me Guilbeau blew the coverage versus Vandy then when I request a little confirmation that you ignore it. Substance I’ll take. Some unsubstantiated garbage cause you share similar characteristics to Jerry Jones I won’t. Maybe SJSU had lots of drops. But at least one source credited them with 1. One is not a lot. What is your source stating that Mateer could barely grip a ball? A dude who had 50 touches in that game could barely grip a ball yet had no fumbles. Interesting. Yes the QB was in his first ever start. Thanks, didn’t know that. But for funsies, I might actually rewatch the game. - Yesterday

Sorry dude. We’re going to lock Stockton down. Georgia doesn’t have Jeremiah Smith who didn’t do crap against us either with a senior or freshman at qb, and we are the best defense in the nation against the run. Our defense will be locked in all game for this one, and they will be, most importantly, rested and healthy. It’s all about Arch and the offense.
