Then he needs to call his sponsor. I have a sibling who is 13 years sober and when the urge to have that drink. due to perhaps a stressful scenario arises, he reaches out to his sponsor and other trusted people in his inner circle.

I’m not Gerry but I don’t think he can change what needs to be changed. It’s not his personality to do so.
-
Gerry— What one major change does he need to make? I mean, that game went from “oh man… we can pull this off” to “oh man.. what in tell just happened” for my group watching the game last night.

What if it’s not a joke?
-
Joking about sobriety is not funny.

The 4th down conversions and that onside kick COMPLETELY CHANGED the game. Insane! I thought that we played one heck of a game until that point.

I don't care what your political beliefs are, let's keep this sports related as much as possible. The whole point for this post was to keep Boyd in your thoughts and prayers.
-
Keep the political crap out of here !

Nah, that's just B1G Georgia. We need an Indiana to take care of him in embarrassing fashion. Not going to pull for Tech, Oregon, Oklahoma, A&M or Notre Dame either. Who's left? Ole Miss? -
The problem sometimes with calling things how you see them is that many times you’re looking through poor lenses. In this case your lenses seem to be blurry at best

I live in Westchester. Folks are worried about Mandani but NYC remains one of the safest big cities in the country.

I don't always agree with what former players say, but I'll always respect their opinions because they've got a frame of reference I don't have and never will. With that said, you can't absolve one party regarding the discipline issues. From a coaching standpoint, if a firm believer that you're either coaching it or you're allowing it to happen. If you're worried about guys heading to the portal when they need to be corrected for making mistakes that hurt the team, then either they're the wrong type of guy for your program or your culture isn't that good. This team doesn't pay attention to details. That starts at the top, but it's also on the players to hold each other accountable. Texas isn't as talented or experienced as the last two seasons, where it can overcome those mistakes, especially against an opponent like Georgia. Personally, I don't buy that the portal and NIL mean you can't coach a disciplined team. Furthermore, 8.2 penalties per game is the worst in the Power Four — that's flat out unacceptable. Curt Cignetti, for example, has built a roster with a heavy reliance on the portal. Indiana is in the top six in the country in fewest penalties per game and fewest penalty yards per game. This is an ongoing issue for Sark that must be resolved. They can be if he's willing to put the screws to guys and change the program's mindset regarding self-inflicted wounds.

It does with adding Cunningham and Sidberry and then as good as Crump is. Plus it seems like every returning player has greatly improved. Vic gets them and develops them. - Yesterday
