Johnson looking good, especially for being such a big underdog.

I wish. I love MMA but it’s hard to justify paying that much for the PPV while I sit at home. Not a great card but really wanted to see 2 legends go at it. And it being Poirier’s last fight too.

For Manning’s sake, I hope that does not happen. Cowboys are a hot mess. They always will be as long as the Joneses own the team.

I’m old enough to remember Richard Peavy. Dude was a seek and destroy missle! - Yesterday

Boring is good. If he's boring again tomorrow, he'll be hoisting a trophy at the end of the day.

In the summer of 1973 I took the first of two required American History courses. Like many requirements at UT, the class was large. It was held in the auditorium of the Art Building across the street to the North from Memorial Stadium. The professor was Dr Norman Brown and one of my classmates was Ben Crenshaw. At the time, Crenshaw was the better known of two All American golfers for the UT Men's Golf Team, with Tom Kite being the other team member. Crenshaw and Kite have been followed by a long line of accomplished championship players in college and on the PGA Tour. Scottie Scheffler is the latest and currently the most famous of the World #1 ranked professionals to have come through the Forty Acres and played for the University. In September, Scottie will represent the USA in the Ryder Cup competition. Best wishes to Scottie in the final round of the Open Championship on Sunday and the Ryder Cup this September in New York. Hook 'Em Horns!

Scottie is 9-0 in his last 9 tournaments with the 54-hole lead.

He made 7 to 10 foot putts look routine. What an amazing display of effortless golf.

For those unaware, many believe this hit by Peavy led to the eventual downfall of Marcus Dupree. -

Anthony Curl was one of the more under-rated LBs in Texas history. -
Yes, along with Jonathan Vargas, Jordan Spieth, and Scheffler, four Longhorns made the cut.

This isn’t the flex he thinks it is but oh well.

Amazingly, I just saw Scottie shoot the most boring 4-under round I've ever seen. I can't imagine being that good that you can make a 4-under round look ho-hum. Incredible!
-
Just saw that Justin Leonard made the cut and is at even par. I don't follow golf all that closely but I haven't heard his name in a long time.

Off topic but did you see this crazy shot by Rory?
