I'd like the committee to be able to change seeds to avoid rematches as much as possible. Swap Bama and Miami, Tulane and JMU. Punishes the 1st match loser. On the plus side, no ohio state/ Indiana rematch until the title game, though Indiana will probably face the Ducks after the NIL bowl if they beat Tech. And, maybe that's how ND was dropped (head to head Miami loss along with an Aggie matchup).

True, but if you're going to penalize byu by leaving them out due to a ccg loss then do the same with bama. Texas's record is a better 3 loss team, and should have been in over bama after that loss. The whole, "they beat Georgia", well Texas has beat a&m, ou, and vandy. Plus let's not forget that fsu loss is worse than Florida.

Sagarin's ratings have James Madison rated #28 and Tulane at #46. Those aren't even top 25 teams, much less one of the 12 best.
