I think Baxter could be great next year, I feel like everyone has just given up on him 🤷♂️
-
Horrible conference. Congrats. See how they do now.

Baxter is a shell if himself. He really needs to get in the portal.

I think Baxter is due, dude has been banged up all season. This offseason is the perfect time to rehab everything about himself and his game. Same with Derrick Williams, I think he’s due. Guy was a stud before the injury.

Hey @Gerry Hamilton I haven’t been able to attend a live stream to ask this and it has been on my mind for a while. If Baxter comes back next year do you think we could see the guy that was getting compared to great running backs before his injury occurred or is that not going to happen at Texas?

We could have stopped them. Zero logic there. There’s a massive difference between hey we’re in but not playing a home game versus hey, we’re clearly one of the best 12 teams in the country but aren’t even in the playoffs because we have two sacrificial lambs that are going to be in over us and Miami. As a fellow season ticket holder I’d rather the option to purchase playoff tickets for the first 2 rounds than going to a meaningless bowl game.

Ohio State looks light-years better than everyone else!

Yes, it's easy to claim this after a game where they win. My comment was about how they lost against Bama the first time this year. Nice try though. -
Because I can?

I understand not everyone will agree with what I have to say, but calling a post "stupid" and suggesting someone shouldn't be allowed to post because of it, isn't a valid argument and doesn't add to the conversation. If you believe my post was off-base or unhelpful, I'd welcome a specific critique. Otherwise, we're all just having fun here—it's sports, so lets try to relax a little.

Definitely not following the logic and linkage between being a season ticket holder and 24 teams. Two rounds of playoffs at home campus locations (17-24 all play at 9-16 in week 1 then winners play at home fields of 1-8 in week 2). You'd rather only have one round of games at college campuses? Not me. I'd prefer first two rounds on campus, setting the stage for quarter finales in major bowls. JMHO.

We just got home from watching our Mavs throttle the Rockets tonight. It was beautiful. The team was actually fun to watch. Lots of length and quickness. Think I'm fired up tonight because the new 'system' just doesn't make any sense. Notre Dame played 3 teams in the Top 25 and lost to 2 of the three teams with an overall SOS ranked 42nd and a lower SOR than Texas (according to ESPN). One of ND's losses was to A&M, whom we just kicked the living s$%& in the second half. Notre Dame has beaten NOBODY except one ranked opponent (USC at 16). Texas has 3 wins against Top 13. Similar story for Miami. Their one big win was Notre Dame (that's another head scratcher). How is ND with two losses and an unimpressive schedule ranked above Miami who they lost to head to head? As much as they stated SOS, SOR, Quality Wins all were going to mean more this year, it's BS. Their ranking system doesn't seem to have changed. It focused first and foremost on record. the undefeated and 1-loss teams are all virtually guaranteed a spot. A 3-loss team has very little chance, regardless of who the losses are to or who that team beat beyond the three losses. Valuable lesson learned this season. Set your team up for success with momentum in September while your'e getting into your rhythm. Take no risks. The revenue from making the playoffs is way too valuable to risk unnecessarily. Then add to all this, that we're adding a 9th game in the SEC next season. Nuts.
