OTF Premium 2025-26 Portal Tracker Thread
CJ Vogel replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I wonder how many OL do depart vs. how many Texas fights to retain. The number could rise up to 4-5 based off of early portal predictions. Exit meetings will be important for the Longhorns to retain the guys they hope to see on campus in 2026. -
Oh man they scheduled Chattanooga and East Carolina quick before someone else scooped up that.

That will change. WR is the deepest portal position every single offseason. Give it a week or two and there will be several WR1 caliber options in the portal. -
That’s hard to do!! SAS is a clown amongst clowns

I agree with you especially in the receiving room and because Sark expect so much from his receivers. Not many Mitchell’s or Goldens out there that aren’t already playing for us! -
Schedule changes already happening

Texas did just beat previously undefeated and SEC leader Texas A&M in front of a national audience. If you get past the “hope for chaos” Saturday, that’s the best case for a jump you could have. -

Don't feel like there are many guys who would really be much of an upgrade over the talent we have at the moment, unless they're a first-round caliber guy, no point in paying in the portal. Gotta wait for the big fish, and even though that post was fake I do think Cam Coleman might enter. -
Nope. You cannot "ban" another user. You can "block" other users, but they can still see your posts.
-
I'm not. You asked for thoughts in your original post. So I gave my thoughts.

I don’t see a path unless the committee overreacts tonight. Texas would need to jump Miami and Vandy tonight to have a chance imo -

It's the truth that Texas being left out will have repercussions for all of college football. How is that BS? -

Why did you mention this in your OP. Show us the support or don’t post BS. -
Money money money. One game versus possibly 3 at the end of the year. the committee will go against its rules if it leaves us out

The timing of Alabama's changing their non-conference schedule is very good for our chances...I am not getting my hopes up, but I do think this will positively impact our position.
