Yeah, that would likely make Texas one of the few teams with two wins over other CFP ranked teams. Our SOS was already really helped tonight by MSU, OSU, and Kentucky all winning.

My computer poll has them at #11, the top 2 loss team. Top 12 as of right now without the night games being completed. 1. Indiana (B1G) 2. aggy (SEC) 3. Ohio State 4. Alabama 5. Ole Miss 6. BYU (BIG 12) 7. Georgia Tech (ACC) 8. Texas Tech 9. Virginia 10. Georgia 11. Texas 12. Michigan 18. Memphis (AMERICAN) With NC State putting it on Georgia Tech, this would likely keep Texas in the Top 11, which is where you need to be because #12 will always be replaced by the G5 conference champion. Oregon might be the biggest fraud that will likely be in the Top 12 when the poll is released. They have played two teams with a winning record (1-1), and two teams that haven't won a game all season.

There is a ton of pressure there. They had 6 sacks and like 10 TFL's. Plus lot of hurries, etc. Akina needs to match up with that, as he's the passing game coordinator. Seems like there is something disjointed there.

Pretty sure Akina is a zone coverage guy. Not sure PK had much input into who is hired, that's more Sark. But I could be wrong. Filsaime is injured himself, Williams hasn't played a ton since his injury. Plus both your starting guys were out. Believe it or not, that does hurt you. But they do need to do better with coverage. Some of the busts were complete head scratches.

Texas has to get that secondary sorted out. Give way to much cushion. Maybe PK needs to dial up a little more pressure to shorten the amount of time those dbs have to cover as well. Hats off for the first 85% of the game.

Not having an AA safety, another starting safety getting injured, and your DEs getting held all game will cause problems for any secondary.

Did you notice? I got the prediction right through the third quarter. Then the crooked refs took over the game. I hate seeing the refs cheat so obviously. It is ruining the sport, not only the game. Here's the innuendo. Sports betting has become too powerful. Las Vegas makes more money on sports betting than on the casino floor! Isn’t it ironic that the annual refs training & conference is held in Las Vegas EVERY YEAR! It's ridiculous. Thus, I never gamble.

Not having Michael Taaffe has been a huge blow to our secondary, so hope to have him back against Georgia.

Out of curiosity....is it me or has the officiating in the SEC seemed more suspect than years past? It may be just coincidence but the questionable officiating seems to have gotten worse every year since the widespread availability of legalized gambling. This Texas game sure looked a lot like point shaving imo.

It wasn’t prevent. It was lost as a goose Cover-Who? Filsame was not mentally in the stadium, and Williams is clearly not back physically. Hiring a man specialist to run our back end probably contributes to our abysmal feel for zone coverage, drops and spacing as well.
