I'm not. You asked for thoughts in your original post. So I gave my thoughts.

Are the tides turning for Texas?

I donโt see a path unless the committee overreacts tonight. Texas would need to jump Miami and Vandy tonight to have a chance imo -

It's the truth that Texas being left out will have repercussions for all of college football. How is that BS? -

Why did you mention this in your OP. Show us the support or donโt post BS. -
Money money money. One game versus possibly 3 at the end of the year. the committee will go against its rules if it leaves us out

The timing of Alabama's changing their non-conference schedule is very good for our chances...I am not getting my hopes up, but I do think this will positively impact our position. -
Here's the thing though. The committee could easily justify putting us in without having to admit that they messed up prior rankings by over-weighting the OSU loss - that's because we just beat the #3 undefeated team by 10. We are due for a big jump. The question is just how big a jump. If this noise was all coming without the A&M win, then the committee would have to admit defeat and change their philosophy - we made it easy on them if they want to do that but still save face.

no chance. two of ou vandy or bama mia had to lose -
They wouldn't, which is why it would be stupid to say that either of those things "breathed life" into Texas' playoff chances with the committee.

Texas gets ranked #1 tonight! Book it

We're out, but I love what Sark is doing right now. None of the other teams that are going to be outside looking in like we are are making as much noise. The only thing to do at this point is to burn it, and Sark is walking in to any house he can find with matches and a can of gas. -
A chance remains. We need Blake Baker to accept the Tulane job. https://www.louisianasports.net/2025/12/02/five-star-dt-richard-anderson-likely-delays-lsu-signing/top-stories/ ๐๐๐๐๐

I play both sides of this. 1A- Donโt lose to Florida 1Aa- If we played Tarleton in Week 1 AND still lose to Florida, weโre #8 or something and golden. -

If Texas doesn't get in then I wonder if they'll start changing up their non con games as well. I wonder if any of the moderators have heard if Texas would look into changing those games based on the outcome of the playoff committee. -
He has no power to ban you on X. That's an interesting (dumb/vulgar) post to boast about on a message board. Do better.
