Cypress (Texas) Cy Ranch DL Amari Vickerson, an SMU commit, tells OTF this weekend he still intends on officially visiting Texas on June 12-14. Vickerson missed his scheduled return trip to Austin for the final spring practice but remains in contact with the Longhorns. SMU is working to hang on to the talented 6-foot-3, 300-pounder, who's the son of former NFL DL Kevin Vickerson. Vickerson did visit Texas on April 11 with his family. We'll see if anything comes of this.

Able is not there anymore. They pay to sign him and if he does come back to school it’s to North Carolina. It’s probably best that Texas didn’t sign him.

If Bo can make the team...huge. Would make that team a better basketball squad in terms of his bball IQ, shooting, & passing ability.

Didn't read through the thread, but I consider Ride Like the Wind to be the quintessential yacht rock song.

I'm trying not to put too much unfair expectation on him entering the season. At some point there will be some adversity again, but getting fully healthy should unlock more out of his game no question.

Interesting analysis by the film guy. could we see a bigger jump from Arch next year than we are expecting?

Nvm the scoreboard is wrong they start on the front 9 like their edit says. They must make the cut today to play tomorrow and make the Top 8 match play cut. Projected cut line is +10. Texas is +2

Texas starts on the back 9 this morning. They’re off and running. Gotta perform today to make the first cut.

As a Texas sports fan or sports fan in general it’s extremely hard to not get upset or mad sometimes when a player messes up or a play doesn’t go our way every time. Woke up this morning realizing we are good at every sport really and wanted to be grateful for that. Ready to watch this game tonight and the baseball team next week. 👍🏻

Absolute grit and beautiful play to end that game. Those girls have it. Baseball team is great. And I’m not saying they do not, but watching this softball team the last few years man they just know how to get it done when it matters most. The best step up when it’s needed. And the role players make plays above and beyond their role at the best times. I hope the baseball team was watching them. Let’s go get it done tonight. HOOK EM.

Have to note the later Beach Boys after Pet Sounds and in particular the Sloop John B. Not an original by them, but the definitive version for sure. I think Al Jarrel had to convince Brian Wilson to record it. Then the perfect God Only Knows and the islands themed Kokomo.

Banana Republic by Steve Goodman, although most will remember it when he played with Jimmy Buffet. Steve was on ACL a couple of times so those are on YT. Also any Cubs fan will be familiar with his baseball songs.
