  1. Past hour
  2. I think we’re all going to find out
  3. Does the ncaa wanna find out? We do it and it will start a cascade of other teams following suit.
  4. Does Texas actually follow through with the threat if we don’t get in?
  5. He didn’t tell them to get lost like DeBoer and all their other top choices did
  6. From McKinney. Wasn’t a lot of interest originally out of HS, but has experience and is a physical back
  7. In 3-4 years, how many of the coaches hired today sign an extension with the same team? A lot of unknown commodities in my opinion.
  8. Gator fans dont deserve sumrall lol, I wonder if Stein stays for the playoffs now that kentucky has hired him
  9. BYU HC to Penn State it looks like - not a done deal but close
  10. Strong hire IMO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uibT3VUj6wk
  11. Yesterday
  12. Nope. I just prefer my coach to be committed and want to be here. His lack of focus this year is what lead to many of the issues and it appears is gonna cost a playoff spot. Hopefully he is back focused and committed after flirting with the NFL and or other jobs.
  13. Intern for Jimmy Sexton infiltrating OTF, next is ESPN boards for Herbstreit and Saban. Both moving to Fox and cover Big 8 and WAC...
  14. That doesn't really seem like an upgrade over James Franklin though, imo. What exactly has Sitake done that makes him better than Franklin?
  15. If he was Will Baker that would be an awesome outcome for a 15th scholarship player
  16. Living that Sonny Dykes dream or Saban fantasy? Or we're just going to money whip Freeman?!
  17. He is Coleman Elkins. Baker was pretty solid for LSU… just didn’t stick around to develop.
  18. This is the problem, claiming head to head over Vandy and OU is the only way to move us ahead of them (and BYU which would be ahead of Utah), and unlikely Bama drops out. Not saying we don't deserve it, just a complete human intervention over the data driven components. Beating directional state instead of losing to Ohio State isn't what puts us over these teams; the SOS hit hurts and computer algos still see the struggles vs mid teams. The Florida loss is concrete on our ankles. Also ironic our fate would depend on Manny iaz and uke.
  19. DeBoer more than doubled his salary and worst case gets about $90 million for his efforts with more sympathy than scorn from the world outside Tuscaloosa. Pretty good deal.
  20. Bama is not going to be left out, they lead the SEC going into the conference championship game. imo it’s the Notre dame live fest that trumps Texas because among the names at the bottom half, only Notre dame has the same type of national pull as Texas. if Texas doesn’t make the cfp, maybe that’ll light a fire under Sark to run up the score next year on everyone. He sounds pissed enough last few days. also Sark needs to politic for the team to go to the cfp to keep the team’s trust in him. If he says they don’t deserve to go, then likely there’d be some fallout with the players. It’s like an old boss of mine always said to us - “I’ll always have your back if you keep me in the loop. Even if you screw up.”
  21. Texas has 3 good young receiver to go with Wingo and Mosley.
  22. 6-10 big man Coleman Elkins hitting 3's http://www.hudl.com/v/2TEfJW
  23. Joe Sterling recent http://www.hudl.com/v/2THYCa http://www.hudl.com/v/2THGab
  24. Bo Ogden some recent games ... http://www.hudl.com/v/2THXaK http://www.hudl.com/v/2TGRtK http://www.hudl.com/v/2TFHhA
  25. A good rule in life is to never follow the GOAT. Besides not starting land wars in SE Asia, another good rule in life is to not follow the lame duck who followed the GOAT. I use lame duck advisedly as DeBoer is a very good coach, but he will be run out of Tuscaloosa for not winning 7 national titles sooner than later imoho. Also, PSU is desperate for actual offensive football after watching their teams struggle with the forward pass for a decade. They might throw the kitchen sink at KD, and he might be wise to accept it. His leash will be longer.
  26. It’s still a great job and I’d be more than happy to leave Mississippi for Baton Rouge. I think most coaches see what that program has done this century, saw what a bad fit Brian Kelly was, and feel they too can lead them to glory. And keeping that talent home with no in state competition is a huge advantage few schools can offer.
