Moderators CJ Vogel Posted April 8 Moderators Posted April 8 Saw these two photos on social and wanted to share. The 378-pound Geffrard looks like a handful to have to stay in front of. Going to be interesting to see how much his game improves now that he is not required to play 400+ snaps a season. Geffard was the 2nd highest graded Arkansas defensive player last year when the Horns stuck 52 on the Razorback D in 2025. In 14 pass rush snaps, he registered a pressured and QB hurry. 16 1 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 He carries that weight well. Our guys should be used to blocking beasts from practice. Our run of pro defensive lineman has been epic. 1 Quote

Ronnie Barnhardt Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Last year should teach all of us to believe nothing we hear about the OL during camp 1 1 Quote
AusMOJO Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Looks like he'll eat up double and triple teams no problem. Which will make the pass rush much better. Looking forward to seeing how it translates to an actual game. Quote

Thanks for posting this CJ... from the looks of the photos, it seems like "GeFridge's" signature move is to get the OL to try to block him on one leg/foot... very effective DL technique! I must say I didn't notice him in the Arkansas game last season, but I will notice him controlling the middle of the Texas Defense this upcoming season. Back in the day, I remember when Casey Hampton used to trot onto the field and I would think the middle of the Longhorns D is about to be a WALL... Good luck to Ian and Hook 'Em! 1 Quote
