Unfortunately, given the body of work especially on the road this season I’m taking MSU 24-20 🤬😢. Texas 17 Mississippi State 16. Texas' defense finally gets a TD on a pick six by Graceson Littleton despite not having Michael Taaffe on the backend. The offense scores a late touchdown to tie it, and an extra point gives them a 1-point victory. Mississippi State will make sure Ryan Niblett does not have a chance to break a big punt return by kicking it out of bounds and/or pinning him to a sideline. A strip sack by Colin Simmons seals the game for Texas. Offensive struggles continue, but they come through in the clutch to get this team to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in SEC play heading back to DKR to face Vanderbilt and Diego Pavia next week.
