WR: 5*’s Jamier Brown, Easton Royal, Monshun Sales, and Dakota Guerrant. 5* Eric McFarland (‘28) TE: 5* Brock Williams , two other big names OL: Too many to list. But massive OSU lean 4* Jimmy Kalis, and Top40 player Qua Ford from TX. Edge: 5* Anthony Sweeney, Top100’s Chris Whitehead, Reinaldo Perez DT: 4* Brayden Parks , Jameer Wyce (‘28) LB: Josiah Poyer (the big weekend for LB is PSU) CB: 4*’s Aaryn Washington and Danny Lang from Mater Dei , Ace Alston S: 4*’s Kaleb Elkins and Isala Wily-Ava. Quite a few others.

I mean, Cam Williams was drafted and probably would have been very good had he stayed one more year. DJ Campbell hasn’t lived up to his ranking but he almost certainly will be drafted. He’s pre-season all-SEC. Hit rate of 50% on 6 OL is pretty solid. That’s beating the math. I think the problem has more to do with the misses in recruiting since then. Flood just hasn’t brought in enough blue chip linemen since 2022, which has hurt our talented depth.

Just curious, is there an explanation for Wingo not having a bigger role last year? I’m excited for a breakout, but I recall Bobby singing his praises all camp last year, and he was good early against Michigan. With Bond’s struggles you might thought the young “superstar” would come on quickly. He seemed to fade. We’ve heard about the lasik, but I’m just curious if there was a reason he didn’t seem to grow in role throughout last year. Was he struggling with anything specific? Just a freshman wall?

If that's true about the OL, that means the guys in the 22' class not named Banks didn't pan out like they intended them to.

I’m having trouble reconciling that confidence with the chaos on the OL. Goosby playing with a club on his hand feels not great. Neto potentially getting passed up by Stroh feels REALLY not great. They must plan to play a heavy dose of bully ball and must strongly believe in their defense and special teams, because I think we are in trouble if Arch is having to pass too much behind that OL.
