  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah it must be nice to spend that much money to dominate the big 12 like that LOL.
  3. To your point A&M is weak at stopping the run, but we can't run the ball. Remember how bad Kentucky was at stopping the run? Wasn't Miss State bad at it, too? Just saying, just because a team has a weakness doesn't mean you can take advantage of it. This isn't negativity either, it's just criticism and opinions. That's what the forum is for or rather forums in general. Texas was right there with them in their house but anyone watching that game felt like we were never really in it. Plus they didn't have an identity either, first start for their QB, new RB's, etc. I do agree though, go out and win these next 3 games and you control your destiny. Lose one and you're likely out. We'll see how they do this week against Georgia.
  4. Almost three years later and we are STILL waiting for that to happen.
  5. I'm not sure Cruz is going to want to sit another year. But I could be wrong. Right now imo, if Goosby comes back your OL looks like this next year: LT - Goosby, LG - Brooks/Stroh, C - Robertson/Cruz, RG - Kibble/Stroh, RT - Baker If Goosby doesn't come back: LT - Brooks, LG Stroh/Kibble, C - Roberston/Cruz, Kibble/Stroh, RT - Baker Now to your point, what do Chatman and Cojoe do? Do the Coleman twins and Christian develop well for next year? Umeozulu is likely to transfer at this point. He only has one year left of eligibility anyway. You could potentially be looking at 2-3 OL transferring. Unless Cojoe can play G. But to your point, they definitely need some competition. Whether that's from transfers or the guys there already. Either way you have the potential to lose 3 starting OL from this years group. I'll be curious to see what Sark/Flood do in the off-season. Though to be fair, they would hopefully have a team of people looking around and seeing what is possibly out there.
  6. I think if that was an issue, it would affect the whole team, not one specific position.
  7. I read one of the comments on the tweet saying that she's a professor and coach now LOL.
  8. Never should you ever take shots at my weekly game thread timing again 🤪
  9. "The country's going to find out: Everything runs through Lubbock."
  10. Joey McGuire takes shot a Notre Dame Sick of this guy, I hope he take care of business and make the playoff and get to knock these dudes out. Sick of Joey the mouth McGuire, and papa Campbell and the tech media suck fest as of late. Yeah I know I sound like a hater idc, HOOK EM 🤘🏽
  11. Yesterday
  12. Notre Dame’s bit is perfect lol
  13. The negativity by fans internally for a pre season #1 team who still has its destiny in front of it and has shown leaps and bounds of improvement while finally getting healthy is amazing. Sure there have been some disappointments but Texas is in the SEC playing with the big boys now. There's not a single team out there that hasn't had lapses except Ohio State and Texas was right there with them in their house and that Texas team didn't have an identity yet. Yes A and M and Indiana are undefeated but they have weaknesses as well. The Aggies have been brutal trying to stop the run. These final three games are crucial, pretty much what we always wanted them to be. Go out and win and you're in. This team can play with anybody.
  14. Looks like another 3* practice/scout recruit
  15. Be better @Joe Zura
  16. Continuing the theme of them not knowing what the hell to do with Texas.
  17. You may want to see why Coach was gone? It might change your tune. Also, Flood is the OC and paid to do a job. He doesn’t call plays but he’s paid for that title and he has input.
  18. With that being said, I still wish we had Lee Hunter. He's really good.
  19. I agree among the starters, but they don't have the DL depth (especially with one of their top IDL's being out for the year) that top teams in the SEC and Big 10 have. I think their lack of depth will be exposed in the playoffs, and their offense is not very good.
  20. Time for Sark to take down a Top 10 opponent. Time for Texas to break Georgia’s spell. Time for Texas to solidify their place in the CFP. HookEm Thank God for today (Psalm 118:24).
  21. Interesting stat ... only two teams in the Top 10 have lost a game to a team with a losing record. Alabama lost to Florida State (4-5) and Texas lost to Florida (3-6). Put another way we have arguably the worst loss of all the Top 10 teams. So no complaining about our ranking or chances for the CFP please. We still have a chance, let's take it.
  22. I disagree with ND. Yes, credit playing a couple of touch games early in the season. But the rest of their schedule is laughable including USC. This is negated if they join a conference, until then I just can’t abide them and their entitlement.
  23. Going to need to be a masterful performance from Sark.
  24. make that 34-2 vs teams not named wash geo ohio st. 0-6 vs those 3
