High school recruiting is dead for power 5 programs. Agents repping college kids have unintentionally tanked the value of high school players beyond the top 20-50 recruits who can have instant impact. They can either come for low value and be developed or they can test their worth with lower P4 and G5 teams. Such an interesting market dynamic.

This is what I wanted Texas to do. I wanted experienced guys up front to protect Arch. Granted, both tackles are in good shape and Robertson could return at center, but I guess we will just see.

I admit that seeing A&M bring in experienced SEC linemen and basically completely rebuild their line while Texas struggles to get a single serviceable OL in the portal is a bit demoralizing.
