  1. Past hour
  2. Exactly, zero respect for the ACC. Wake could upset Virginia this wknd. Louisville has to go to SMU. Georgia likely gives GT another loss. Huge possibility the ACC champ has 2 losses. I’m 99% positive only the ACC champ gets in based off the cards the committee showed yesterday.
  3. Nice millennial reference there
  4. I agree 100%. We will see if Michael Taaffe is basically FlexSeal for this defense. Just slap him back in the rotation and fix your issues. Fingers crossed.
  5. Agreed, but PK and Akina need to clean up these bad secondary performances from the last two weeks. Georgia can put up points and I don’t think we want to be in a shootout with them in Athens. That’s not a good position for us to be in.

  8. The committee basically spit in the face of the ACC. Highest ranked ACC school is 7–1 Virginia at No. 14. One loss GT and Louisville are behind 2-loss Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah and Vanderbilt. Straight up told them to kick rocks.
  9. This has not been a traditional Kirby Smart UGA team, and if Texas continues to play ball at the level they've shown from the last six+ quarters, it would matchup very well for them.
  10. Sark should send Sitake a script!
  11. They could certainly do it. Georgia can’t get pressure on anyone and struggles against offenses with speed that can push the ball down the field. Something tells me Lebby is gonna have some stuff in store for that Georgia D.
  12. Any further cannibalization in the ACC all but cements they only get one team in. Notre Dame losing. Texas Tech + Utah each taking another loss along the way. Alabama beats Oklahoma. Tennessee beats Vanderbilt. Only two losses for OU and Vandy generate decisions that likely don't turn out well for us. All these help a 9-3 Texas.
  13. If Mississippi State goes for 80+ plays as they did vs. Texas, that would be huge.
  14. We need Georgia to squeak out a win against Miss St to ensure they’re still top 5 when we play them, but it would be great if MSU bloodies them up a bit. Let them be bruised and exhausted while we rest for a week.
  15. The B1G is really interesting. In theory all of these teams are still alive. What happens if Michigan beats Ohio State at the end of the year and makes the B1G CG? USC still has Iowa and Oregon on their schedule. Indiana should skate to the B1GCG with Penn State, Wisconsin and Purdue remaining. A team not pictured is Wisconin, Purdue, UCLA and Oregon. That Oregon-Washington game could end up being a win and get in game on the last week of the season.
  16. Navy @ Notre Dame ... A Notre Dame loss the rest of the season would be huge for Texas. No. 9 Oregon at No. 20 Iowa ... An additional Oregon loss would be huge. No. 7 BYU at No. 8 Texas Tech ... Texas should be rooting for Tech to fall again, and BYU to run the table to be the lone Big 12 representative.
  17. How about UF @ UK? UF beating UK would help Texas' strength of schedule. Oregon @ Iowa is interesting because if Oregon loses to Iowa, they're really up against it in terms of making the CFP with a home game against USC and a road game against rival Washington looming. I don't see Iowa winning out, so the Big 10 (not named Ohio State and Indiana) cannibalizing itself is good for Texas' CFP hopes imo
  18. Of course, Texas controls its own destiny and a 10-2 season would lock them in to the CFP. However, if they end up 9-3 they’ll need some help. What games are most important this week? I’m watching Tech vs BYU and Georgia vs Miss St.
  19. Additionally, Texas over the last two games has score 79 points on 25 possessions for a 3.16 average. Cincinnati ranks 18th in PPD offensively at 3.15. That's a great average if they can find a way to continue that trend against Georgia on the road.
  20. Just chilling with coffee and enjoying stream, love these football moments always.
  21. Three really potent offenses remain for the Horns. All three averaging north of 3.00 points per possession which equates to top 25 in the country. Great time to get Taaffe back and a healthy McDonald.
  22. Points Per Drive leaders in the SEC Entering Week 11 *** For those that have been around OTF for a while or followed me elsewhere, you will know that points per drive is a key factor in my evaluation of teams. Entering week 11, here is a visual of where the teams in the conference stand at the moment. You want to be in the upper right quadrant. A few takeaways: – Vanderbilt still has the most efficient offense in the country, averaging 3.74 points per possession. – Teams ranked 3-6 in the College Football Playoff are very similar to one another. You see A&M, Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss basically in the same spot on the graph here. – Arkansas has the 128th ranked defense in efficiency. It is an all-time bad defense. – It is starting to catch up for Tennessee on the chart. Beating no name schools 70–0 for three straight weeks to begin each season can only take you so far. They fail against quality opponents and will continue to do so. – Texas and Oklahoma possess a very similar statistical makeup. Both defenses are in the top two of the conference, and the offenses have been hit or miss throughout the season. – Kentucky is far and away the worst team in the country and it's a justifiable knock on the Longhorns that that game in Lexington went to overtime.
  23. Today
  24. Sounds like he is just testing the waters.
  25. It wasn't a classic decommit. Texas processed him out . It sucks but that's the game these days you have to play at times . We wanted that spot for a bigger fish we are going after. Good luck to him he will find a spot elsewhere.
  26. Horns247 says is didn’t decommit. Crazy recruiting times are here.
