  1. Past hour
  2. I used to think like this too but that win at Oregon was very impressive ... We'll know a lot more when they play Ohio State in the conference championship game (if OSU doesn't screw up against Michigan again) but Indiana looks pretty solid right now.
  3. Texas wants a 5 man OL high school class
  4. Other sites. No need to mention them here.
  5. I will add. If Flood is not retained who knows if the new OL coach will like the current commits or offers. He may like others more. So yeah any offer by Flood now may not mean anything if Flood is gone in a few weeks. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.
  6. Why would he? He’s let go of one coach that he's hired. He will get another year to put an improved group on the field, Sark hasn’t been one to push guys out if their groups are underperforming. He will get another year to figure it out IMO.
  7. He’s put a lot of guys in the NFL. Don’t think a poor O line coach/recruiter/developer could coach under Saban. Heck, I really have no idea what might happen.
  8. Because it doesn’t matter who the OL coach is.
  9. You really think Sark will get rid of Flood?
  10. I get that but Vandy was ranked #9 last week by virtue of beating #11 South Carolina, #10 LSU and #15 Mizzou. Then we beat them and went from #20 to #11. OU jumped into the top 5 after beating #15 Michigan and #22 Auburn. Do you not see how others could make the same argument about many teams in the SEC?

  12. Texas up to 10 in the AP Poll, finally ranked above OU
  13. Following OL recruiting right now seems pointless until we know who they OL coach is gonna be.
  14. They say these big out of conference games don’t hurt you but the reality is if we played Lafayette instead of Ohio State on the road we would be sitting pretty.
  15. I disagree - I think projections are forecasting 9-3, just my opinion.
  16. Eh, the only one I'd say was significant improvement was Jones. Majors and Conner, in my opinion, were the same as they were when they were younger.
  17. I even forgot about OU waxing Michigan, who will likely finish 4th place in the Big10
  18. You’re really trying to make a false equivalency. The upper half of the Big12 has played literally zero teams that are currently ranked in the CFP Top 25. Mississippi State has one SEC win and beat the team that beat Tech (ASU). Fairly confident the SEC is undefeated by the Big12 this season. By the end of the season, teams from the SEC will have played Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech. That’s likely the two P4 winners plus the top non P4 team. The record will likely be 2-1, with a 7 pt loss to the #1 team. The SEC’s quality is demonstrably not self referential like you are suggesting
  19. Which is why unfortunately i see 9-3 and no playoffs this year.
  20. I thought Hayden Conner, Jake Majors, Christian Jones among others all improved significantly under Flood. They lost four pros on the o line from last year who had a lot of continuity together. No doubt this year has been rough but I don't think it's been a development issue until this year. I think Goosby has developed well but the Brooks experiment at Guard was a mistake.
