As we get closer to the opener against Colorado State, I’m going to post a memorable play of the day that somehow represents that day’s number.

Today's play is the touchdown that sealed the deal for Texas beating Alabama last season. Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell catches a 39 yard bomb from QB Quinn Ewers for a touchdown to put the Longhorns ahead 34-24, which ended up being the final score.

It was Mitchell's second TD grab of the game and one of many clutch receptions for the playmaker.
