ArizonaLonghorn
Nice honor for the big fella, and he's the first Longhorn to win an SEC weekly award. As Sark said this speaks volumes about his development under Coach Flood. "Williams earned a PFF run-blocking grade of 73.4, the highest of any Longhorn offensive lineman in the Colorado State game (Williams was edged out by the 74.8 grade of true freshman wide receiver Ryan Wingo for the team lead). To Sarkisian's point, Williams escorted ball carriers down the field on screens and quick passes from quarterback Quinn Ewers while showing off his feet, balance and power as a pulling tackle." "Williams wasn't considered a sure thing as a recruit, but getting off on the right foot has Sarkisian believing in what Flood and head strength coach Torre Becton put Williams in a position to maximize his potential. "This thing speaks volumes to his development," Sarkisian said. "It's a credit to him, it's a credit to Coach Becton in the weight room, I think it's a credit to Coach Flood and just the development that he's had, not only on the field but off the field in his time here." https://247sports.com/college/texas/Article/texas-offensive-tackle-cameron-williams-named-sec-co-offensive-lineman-of-the-week-235563125/
