bierce
Easy 3 set sweep of the match, 25-23, 25-18, 25-14 over #18 Florida. Kills were even at 36, but blocking and serving were the big differences--12 blocks by us, 5 by them. Singletary with 2 solo and 8 assists. Kahahawai with 6 assists. 6/6 aces/errors by Texas serving, 4/11 by Florida. Next match not until next Sunday in Lexington against #13 Kentucky which is 9-6, 3-1 on the season. UK is 0-5 against top ten teams, losing 3-1 to Nebraska, Louisville, Stanford, and Purdue and 3-2 to Penn State. Texas leads the SEC at 4-0 and is 12-1 in sets, dropping only the second set against A&M in the conference opener. Our conference opponents so far have a combined .500 record against the rest of the conference.
Huskie1
They are starting to get it going. They handled a pretty good Florida team.
horns96
Impressive win on the road. Other than Florida, Kentucky and Auburn are the only other currently ranked programs in the SEC. I thought the SEC would be a step up in Volleyball competition, but so far it's a push.
