Pre snap shows Ewers directing the WR and OL:

Well - blocked. Good adjustments. Excellent execution under pressure.

Years ago when Manny Diaz was DC for Texas I was sitting in the north end zone at the Cotton Bowl for the OU game.

OU had the football at their own 5 yard line right in front of us.

They hit a running play a bit like this Texas play against ASU. They snapped the ball and as the RB took the handoff I saw three blocks develop and I heard three pops in order. Pop (block), Pop (block) and Pop (block) and the OU RB took it 95 yards to the south end zone.

It was really great to watch the Horns recognize the ASU defense, adjust and execute. After the lost decade of Texas football I appreciate what the Longhorns have done in the '23 and '24 seasons.

QE can make questionable decisions and self sacks, BUT he also makes elite adjustments. We've seen it the last 2 weeks when it mattered most.

QE can have a good NFL career if he goes to a team where he can sit and develop a couple of years. Get that deep ball honed in. Dude has all the tools.
