Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 24 Moderators Share Posted February 24 Indianapolis (In.) Warren Central 4-star EDGE in the 2025 cycle Damien Shanklin confirmed with OnTexasFootball Friday that he has an official visit scheduled to Texas June 21-23. Michigan, Texas, Tennessee Notre Dame and Ohio State have emerged as the schools at the top of the list for the 6-4, 230 pound pass rusher. He will make visits to all five, both in the spring and summer OV's. Notre Dame is expected to receiver a spring unofficial and June official visit. Texas offered Shanklin in September of 2023. Robert Gilbert
While this period of time is generally rather slow as far as the team and recruiting goes, I do love the info about ‘25 and ‘26 recruits. It is a great time to hear about and discuss potential future Longhorns.
John Moore
His highlight is fun. Felt bad for the pulling OT in the 3rd clip.

He remains the same IMO ... a prospect Texas was/is evaluating. His frame may not have the muscle mass projection some in the SEC are ideally looking for, but we shall see. Not just Texas, but I think the spring will be very big for his overall recruitment. Was coming off the knee injury in 2023, and that limited him at times - especially early in the season.
