Texas is the 6th seed in the NCAA Tournament. If Texas wins the regional they host the Super Regionals.

texas a&m is the overall 1 seed.

The SEC has 7 of the 8 top seeds the exception is Florida State.

I haven't followed softball that much this season, but am curious.  I think I saw that the A&M coach is in her first or second year, would be interested in how she's been able to turn that program into such a program, albeit it's a small sample size and they have not gone through the post season yet, but they did just smoke Texas 14-2.
