ESPN Updated SP+ Rankings Published - Pre-Season Texas Defense is 1st and Offense at 17th

Interesting to see Bill Connelly pre-season ESPN SP+ rankings has our defense at #1 but offense down at #17 for overall ranking at #5.

With our front 7 pass rushing speed, our defense has the potential to be a real game changer in 2025 but this low offensive ranking on ESPN makes me excited to see Arch and the skill positions surprise the nation.   We’re young on offense across most positions but have crazy athleticism and upside that should be peaking by Nov as the team gains experience and builds continuity.
