Drew Lockhart Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I’ve witnessed 2-3 recruits throw a Longhorn hat on the ground during live commitments. OUR STAFF AND PLAYERS use all available resources to give these recruits a great experience on their OV’s and in constant communication for months building these relationships treating them as major priorities. I haven’t seen or heard of this happening elsewhere, although I’m sure it does. I know there’s not a direct explanation. However, it’s hard to fathom, especially in-state recruits. I guess I’m not understanding where the behavior is coming from, especially a K Finley. Regardless of his statement he put out to all the schools after the fact. PRAYERS TO ALL TEXANS IN NEED RIGHT NOW. Hook’em 1 Quote
Deadhead_Horn Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I wouldn't read that deep into it. I don't think its about the schools that we are perceiving they are disrespecting, its more about themselves and the schools they are committing too. Is it a bit narcissistic? Yeah, but we are also talking about 17 year olds. 2 Quote
Paul Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) It is all about class and I have faith Sark will "weed" out as many of these posers as he can. I am so on board with Sark telling these kids if they are coming to UT solely for the money, go elsewhere. See Ojo's commitment. The culture has to mean something. Edited 9 hours ago by Paul 1 Quote
