Texas commitment injury update

OnTexasFootball stopped by Shadow Creek High earlier this week to check on 4-star wide receiver commit Chris Stewart

Stewart was not at practice the day I stopped by. He was at a shoulder doctor getting looked at.

The 6-foot, 175-pounder injured his shoulder in the season opener August 29, took a little time off, and came back against Manvel High September 19. Since that time, the injury has flared back up.

The next few games are in doubt for the Houston area senior. No word on if a shoulder procedure will be needed, as of Thursday afternoon.

Stewart has 14 receptions for 252 yards and a TD, plus two returns for TD's in parts of three games this season.
