If BYU were to win today, TTU ends up 7-2 in conference and Utah and ASU were to win out and finish 7-2 in conference… The championship game would be Utah and BYU despite Utah’s head to head loss. The Big12 rules move away from head to head if there is a 3 way tie and changes to opponent record. If BYU were to beat Utah Big12 would certainly only get 2 teams in. Weird scenario, but maybe more possible than BYU being left out of CFP with only 1 regular season and a conference championship loss. That being said, TTU with 2 regular season losses and a conference championship loss also would not get in. Quote
