Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. has been named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.

The Bednarik Award is presented annually to the most outstanding defensive player in college football. 

There are 20 semifinalists across the country at the moment.

Hill has a team-high 63 total tackles and three forced fumbles, to go along with 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and one interception.
