  • 2025 DeSoto DB To Visit in March (7:45 a.m.)

Joining the California Power 7-on-7 team in attending The University of Texas March 22 will be 2025 DeSoto DB Sael Reyes.

The 6-foot-1 defensive back has 26 offers since his recruitment began. Originally from Illinois, there is plenty of ties to the both the Texas area and the Midwest.

Texas originally offered Reyes back in March of 2023, right around this time a year ago. Reyes and Texas have been rather off and on in communication, however a stop to campus with his 7-on-7 team could help turn this ship around.

Reyes’ brother is former Texas A&M DB Antonio Johnson — something worth mentioning.

Curious how much Texas will recruit Reyes if they can get Kade Philips in the boat

There has not been a consistent line of communication since the fall for what it is worth.

East St. Louis to be exact. The land God forgot about. Threw up a 23.46 200M this spring.
