Houston area cornerback locks in Texas official visit

Missouri City (Texas) Marshall High 2025 cornerback Caleb Chester told OnTexasFootball that he has locked in an official visit to Texas.

Chester, 6-1 and 170 pounds, will make an official visit to Texas June 7-9. That will be the first of three June official visits for the Houston area cover corner with long arms. He's scheduled to visit Arkansas June 14-16 and Texas A&M June 22-23 in the two weekends following Texas.

Chester has been on campus in Austin multiple times, including attending Texas Junior Day January 20.

The Longhorns offered Chester May 16, 2023. Since that time, he has stayed in consistent communication with Texas defensive backs coach Terry Joseph

Curious if yall ever heard of Tory Blaylock RB, out of Atascocita, TX Class of 25'. Grew up watching this kid play, his father played for the KC Chiefs Derrick Blaylock, along with a brother that went to Wisconsin Tavion & I think another one went to Sam Houston State. Could he be a possibility even with how loaded we are at RB. Hook'em!!!

Texas not really recruiting him. Likely OU bound

Hey @Gerry Hamiltonalways love hearing Houston talent. From Kingwood, TX area 30 min North of Houston.

You will like it in 2025 and 2026. Uptick in the Greater Houston area in those two classes

Watched him this year vs. Dickinson. Texas had him on campus a couple of times in the last year, but hasn't been a priority target in the class.

He had more of slasher RB frame as a junior. Dad idoing a good job of adding weight over time to his frame.
