Texas has added a senior defensive analyst to the staff. Brandon Huppert, who comes from Oregon State under the same role, is now officially on the Longhorns coaching staff.
From the Oregon State Football website:
QuoteBrandon Huppert is in his first season as a defensive quality control analyst at Oregon State. He came to Corvallis from Washington, where he most recently served as the program’s director of development from 2020-22.
That stint was his second with the Huskies after serving as a defensive quality control analyst from 2013-17.
Between stints in Seattle, he served as the defensive line coach at UC Davis for three seasons. The Aggies, under his tutelage, broke the program’s single-season record for sacks with 37, surpassing previous record by a double-digit margin.
Huppert began his collegiate career at Boise State before transferring to the Huskies. He played in 15 games for UW.
