    Oh, I do not know. When the NCAA forced USC to rescind their victories over the Reggie Bush scandal, USC said they did not lose the 2006 Rise Bowl-because the game was vacated.

    It is really just a quarterback beauty pageant now. Look st Caleb Williams who won it last year. Never won a conference game nor even a bowl game. He did lose several critical games that made sure that Oklahoma or USC did not make it to the CCG or the Bowl Game, though. It is a totally irrelevant award for people in a clubhouse in NYC.

    All of Riley's QB Heisman winners except Williams were transfers which they were pretty much developed at 80% at least before they got to OU. Williams is his own special case of overhype. He never won a conference championship and he never won a bowl game. In fact, his own poor efforts contributed to those critical losses. Riley is a good quarterback evaluator, but he is a poor QB developer, in fact. Personally, I think that when he saw Sarkisian's offense, that scared him out of the Big 12.
