    Is this a recruitment that will be pretty locked down once he commits? Or too early to tell? Seems like a pretty early announcement so he must feel good about where he wants to go.

    That would be best case scenario. I’m hoping it’s an ugly game & Florida wins it. Puts way more pressure on Aggie & I think Florida is a dumpster fire regardless. They’re not making it out of this season without major changes with that schedule.

    I was saying this in the game thread, Colin Simmons get off at the snap is elite. He doesn’t even have a bag yet when it comes to pass rushing but he will get his this year just off his elite traits.

    I love Texas going after prospects like this. If they maximize him, he’s going to be a heck of a player for us. Also, those kids oftentimes recognize they’re on a different timeline so they’re willing to develop & put in the work.

    You think it would help if Lance Jackson &/or Smith Orogbo also attended that game? I think having as many commits attend as part of the momentum we’re creating would do wonders to any other recruits in attendance. I also think Hilson might commit after the visit if all goes well.

    11-1 for me still. My expectations haven’t changed because I thought this team would be really good. Not sure we can take away a whole ton from either of the first 2 games. For all we know, Michigan could end up being a 7-5 team. I do think the offense is confirmed to be really good, but the defense will need to face a much better offense to really prove something.

    Yea the way we recruit WRs, both in high school & from the portal, his chance to be a Longhorn ended once he chose to go to Tech. Wish him all the best as a person but outta sight, outta mind.

    Would love to lock him down this weekend, however I think he will take his visits around. Wonder if the visit goes well, he will consider coming back for the Georgia game with all those other recruits & commits coming in.
