  2. Can ya provide links to the videos ya make daily
  3. In addition to all the regular shows, I loved tuning into the postgame last year with Brian Robison and Rod B. Also really enjoyed Lunch with the Coaches! Coach Irwin and Shipley bring it🤘🏼 One thing I would recommend staying away from is getting into specifics about injuries. Whether it’s severity, recovery timeline, rehab, etc. I come from this world and it’s very apparent that most of the information presented is not very accurate when it comes to the specifics. You guys are the best place for all information regarding Texas athletics, including team info, recruiting, evaluation, etc. But unless you bring in someone who specializes in injuries and rehab, I would refrain from discussing in too much detail.
  4. First, CJ, thanks for putting this out to OTF. It’s awesome the way Bobby and team are constantly working to improve OTF. Here’s a suggestion. During the season (especially football and possibly basketball/baseball to an extent), consider doing regular Top 5, Top 10 or even just Top 3 lists. For example, after the game on Sunday could be Top 10 plays of the game (mix of plays across offense, defense, ST) Call out the ‘Catch of the Game, Throw of the Game, Run of the Game, Hit of the Game, ST Play of the Game, Best Play call of the game, etc. Name the Top 3 Players on Defense and Top 3 on Offense after each game. All ways to make it fun and celebrate the team and individual play. Coukd do something similar for basketball, only shorter list. Maybe just Top 3 plays of the game. Hook em!! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  5. Best not to burn bridges… or over react to kids being kids.
  6. Yeah you know pops had to have said something. Kids will be kids but knowing he was brought up with a good life cause of what his dad did as a Longhorn should have led him to handle that differently. Live and learn…. Good luck to the kid. We’re good either way ye went imo
  7. no baseball no basketball talk just football?
  8. Fully agree. Klatt and Cowherd probably do it the best and realize it’s extra production effort. Makes consumption rate skyrocket. Also, for weekly shows where they are clearly broken up into different segments, consider creating chapter bookmarks on video segments to make it easy to scroll to different topics when time is limited.
  9. Kaydon definitely got reprimanded after his stunt at the ceremony 😂 Definitely damage control with that post. Happy he posted it though
  10. I feel like the loss of LHN’s pregame and postgame opens a huge opportunity for someone to step in as “the” source for pregame and postgame coverage and discussion. It’s one of the few things LHN got right. You guys should fill that role and have CJ on location doing interviews with players, etc after the games. When you do all get to games together like TXOU or major bowls you should consider a legit branded desk production you could sit at and broadcast from with a guest seat, etc. Ambitious yes but the need is there so why not the best most connected dudes in the business filling the role LHN left behind.
  11. I would love a weekly show/segment breaking down players on the opposing team that Texas recruited and any draft prospects. We follow these kids for months and then they sort of disappear. Would be fun to get an update on their careers every once in a while.
  12. Today
  13. Thanks for posting. 👍🏼. This was extremely well done by Kaydon, imho, two days following his decision announcement. Pure speculation on my part, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a dad/son character discussion and learning moment in the past 36 hrs following the Longhorn hat fake and toss the evening of July 4th. I’ve got 4 kids and my oldest son is in his mid-20s. When they make poor choices, even things that seem small in the moment, turn it into a learning oppty. It’s part of growing up and teaching our boys how to become men of integrity and character. I’m grateful to my dad for doing the same with me when I made stupid choices at similar age 40 yrs ago. Again….Kaydon’s followup post today with gratitude and respect for the other teams who recruited him the hardest (highlighting specific players and coaches) while celebrating Notre Dame as his ultimate choice is absolutely the right way to do it. All class. Extremely well done. Time to move on. Hook em! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  14. One if my all time favorites was Reggie Freeman.
  15. My suggestion for OTF is we cancel/ban @Gerry Hamilton because he eats corn dogs with mayo 🤢🤢🤮🤮
  16. Otf watch parties would be dope.
  17. This 100%, especially during big games where the announcers are glazing our opponents. I try to sync with y'all but y'all are all out of sync with each other. I usually end up syncing with Craig Way.
  18. Also underrated skill wise, despite being an absolute locker room headache (I was an intern with basketball team at the time) — J’Covan Brown. not a Mount Rushmore candidate by any stretch, but since we’re on the topic of pure talent.
  19. I think it would cool to have an expert from the team we play that week come on give us strength and weaknesses of the team they cover and things that they believe will impact the outcome of the game.
  20. according to windy.com there's still some significant rainfall in Kerrville and surrounding areas...in fact, here in Cedar Park off and on Windy: Radar+
  21. Bering back the Blitz but you replace Matt.
  22. Classless behavior. And by a Legacy! Compare it to almost every single interview that Texas recruits have done with OTF. The Longhorns recruits on OTF have made me proud to be a Texas alum and fan of the team. Says a lot about Sark's "Culture" he emphasizes so much.
  23. I like the interaction of all Texas sports. The interviews with different coaches. So, when will Sark come on?
