  1. Past hour
  2. Blake and company are more entertaining than Orangebloods or even Inside Texas, not to mention Gerry and Bobby who are extremely knowledgeable and beig born anf raised in Texas, and a devout Longhorn fan since I was 8 years old, it is a pleasure to be among you. Hook Em 4ever - Texas Tim ( Rome, Georgia)
  3. @Gerry Hamilton Will Texas have any interest in this gaggie decommitment? George Lamons Jr.
  4. A lot of Sark's message reminds me of an updated version of former UCLA basketball Caoch John Wooden, and his pyramid of success. Coach Wooden was a great communicator, who was able to get his meesage through to his (admitedly great) players. It is not surprising to me that Coach Sark is having similar success, which I think is still in it's early stages.
  5. As far as I know, that's one of the things I'm not allowed to record.
  6. The O'Dowds, Tulo, and Juston still connected to the organization?
  7. Shoutout to Ryan Bailey. If you win a game at Nebraska by making a field goal with snow falling, you get an honorable mention.
  8. BRob 39. No brainer there imo.
  9. I think my wife got rid of the one we had because all of our Christmas movies and such are now digital.
  10. I hope Sark’s message got across in my running thread of his speech. It can be tough to convey emotion when you’re trying to capture every moment, but this was a great talk that provided a lot of insight on the culture Sark has fostered at Texas.
  11. Do you have Blu-Ray? Apologize if you already know this, but Blu-Ray players are compatible with DVD.
  12. Sark wishes everyone the best of luck this season and thanks the THSCA for having him. And that’s it for his keynote address, as coaches start to file out of the ballroom here at the convention center.
  13. Sark is wrapping up by thanking the Texas high school coaches for what they do and letting them know that the doors on the Forty Acres are always open to them.
  14. Today
  15. Sark: “That’s a whole different form of adversity, is success.”
  16. We need Goosby to stay. Thats probably not happening if he plays like we expect. If he leaves Nick Brooks will replace him and you will have Baker and him at OT. We will absolutely go to the portal for depth at OT next year. Turntine is good but coaches aren't going to count on him as our primary depth piece at OT next year. Our starting CB's are already on the team LBs will be Spence and Lefau with Bo Barnes and Ty Anthony rotating in. Atkinson will play here some as well. If either Spence or Lefau leaves we will portal a guy in for depth at a minimum. Starting Safeties are already on campus
  17. “Capable of Anything, Entitled to Nothing!” That’s one of the quotes that Sark said is a pillar of the Texas program under his watch.
  18. Sark: “My job is to empower others. It’s really that simple… Empower them to go be great, go be special, go do things they want to do.”
  19. Part of that is being real. Sark said there have been days where he’s told the staff that he needs their help because he doesn’t have a full tank, so to speak.
  20. Sark talking right now about how much he loves football and college football. ”I love what I get to do every single day,” he said.
  21. Everyone has heard Nick Saban talk for years about the process. For Sark, it’s about falling in love “with the habits that bring you success.”
  22. Love that. Absolutely it helps build relationships and trust.
  23. Sark: “We have totally created an environment that’s a want-to mentality, not a have-to.”
