i thought it would be “Texas scared of losing in their upcoming trip Starkville” -
the other thing people don’t often realize is that Florida also has the academic excellent pitch that UT does. It’s constantly ranked the number one or close to the number one public university in the US. Ironically, I even lived there with my family for three months last year and it’s actually a very lovely town, especially if you have kids.

Very surprising indeed. I always thought you had met a woman before… -
Now here’s a guy who gets it 😭

Marcus Freeman- Florida

Or Freeman gets hired to be HC, Sark gets demoted to OC so he can put full focus into his passion, and Kyle Flood and AJ Milwee remain on staff as Co-OCs haha - Today
-
So what @Gerry Hamilton is saying we are firing sark after this year and getting Marcus freeman got it 😭😭
-
Seems like they took Gerry's advice, that he would be a better long term option and wrote him a blank check offer.
-
Ohio State yes, Texas probably not. Is there a connection to Texas I'm not aware of or you think it's a big enough job that he would consider it? Plus considering you always said you hire the opposite of what you had, so next up for Texas HC would be a "defensive" guy.

Marcus Freeman- Florida

He’s getting paid plenty and I bet he has Zero interest in playing in a competitive conference like the SEC. Notre Dame is a shoe for the playoffs almost every year as long as they win 1 or 2 games a year against a real opponent. Look at this year. The rest of their schedule is a joke. -

Now those that want Sark out are going to see this and start the "Freeman to Texas" train 😂😂 -

Definitely not a slouch. Very good PG, wing/guards and a 7'1" Turkish big that will play pro ball for a decade. They are considered a NCAA Tournament level team this year. They were last year until the PG went down in ACC play. They would have won 28-29 games and been a 6-7 seed more than likely. https://kenpom.com/ -
Marcus Freeman- Florida

Possibly, but he sure likes to recruit in Texas. So much is timing. He has a young QB in CJ Carr he believes he can win an NC with, and not sure I disagree. And his wife's family still resides in Ohio, I believe. -
You need to develop your reasoning skills and better understand the landscape of modern college football.

I'm different on the Florida job. It's a GREAT job. Tougher conference and path, but a guy like Freeman would absolutely crush recruiting in Florida and in the SEC region (including Texas). -

I think Ohio state is his Alma Mater an I believe he would why would he leave for Texas if he turned down Florida an Penn State jobs, I think he only leaves Notre Dame for Ohio State. -
Notre Dame has been huge in CFB since CFB has been CFB. Florida has been a thing in CFB since 1991. It's not even a lateral move- it's a demotion.
-
I also wonder if this is something where he has to deny it publicly, but privately he is waiting for them to up their price. Wouldn't be the first time someone said no and then took the job
