I believe rev share is a finite pie that has to be distributed among the players whereas NIL has a higher ceiling and is tied to some type of endorsement, etc.

This isn't big for Texas. You don't want a blue-chipper on the payroll unless he is also on the playing field. He's not going to beat out Goosby and I doubt he is ready to start at RT for Texas in 2026.
