  1. Past hour
  2. That is not really fair. Oregon is a top 10 program and Lott will at least have a shot at a natty.
  3. Today
  4. There are 5M people in Alabama. There are 31M people in Texas. SEC brass needs to be reminded of this...
  5. Maybe they can poach Trev from Aggy?
  6. @Joe Zura - It was a joke. You're always kidding Blake about being muted. I've never heard your voice on coffee & Football.
  7. So Tech is going to bust the cap/break the rules and see if the rules are enforced and they get busted. Yikes. Livin' On the Edge.
  8. The younger UT is Tennessee. Older but founded under a different name. Texas is the first UT.
  9. Apparently Rouse is already a Longhorn.
  10. I also didn't know that Cody Campbell is not just a booster, he's on the Tech Board of Regents. Can you imagine the outrage if Kevin Eltife was the primary financial booster of Texas Athletics?
  11. We're back, time to win. Sark is on a very similar trajectory to Mack Brown, who was in the NC discussion in his third year.
  12. https://apple.news/ABjiGF4g_QxqbE3rSezQO1w I’m bias but would swap Texas -v- OU (3) with Bama -v- Auburn (2). Also, Texas -v- A&M (15) should be in top 10 rivalries imo. Would swap Minnesota -v- Wisconsin (10) with the Horns/Ags.
  13. Tech is a laughing stock to me from trying to buy wins through elite players to over paying for a “top 10 prospect” that’s going to need YEARS of development, IF it’s done right and let’s be honest tech isn’t known to product elite lineman.
  14. Transaction recruiting. It’s definitely not like the last few years. The mods have tried to say this without saying it.
  15. The link to donate is still up. I didn't watch the stream, I just ducked in to donate and went back to watching GS v ATL. Time for Paige Buckets now.
  16. Congrats to her! It’ll be fun to follow her career.
  17. Thanks for this guys. I was working late and missed it but will make a donation to CTFB on my own after reading your info on it.
  18. If we take an elite we are only taking 1 so the money would be fine.
  19. Haha, idk! Someone research! I don’t have time for those shenanigans. @CJ Vogel you savage enough to look into this young blood??
  20. We raised $2,899 tonight for the Central Texas Food Bank! Thank you to all OTF OG’s who made it happen. Truly outstanding!
  21. This. We are a Wingo injury away from a Herman era receiver corp this season. Hoping at least two of the 25 trio prove to be elite in the next two seasons.
  22. Came across this article on CBS Sports (in partnership with 247) from exactly 2 years ago to the day that outlined their rankings of all Head Coaches in College Football. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-12-coach-rankings-2023-oklahoma-states-mike-gundy-dethroned-as-tcus-sonny-dykes-rises-to-top/ Texas had just come off the 8-5 Season, second year under Sark culminating with a loss to Washington in the bowl game. In this article, posted on July 8, 2023, Sark ranked 37th overall and 8th among the Big 12 coaches according to their internal poll. This was only 2 f'ng years ago. Has any coach achieved more and helped their team improve more in the past 2 seasons than Sark and the Texas Coaching Staff? It's not even close. 1) Back to Back College Football Playoff Semi-finals. The only team to make it both years to the playoffs. 2) Final Season Big 12 Conf Championship followed by Inaugural Season SEC Conf Championship Runner Up. Georgia matched with 1-1 record in past 2 SEC Conf Championships. No Other team made it to past 2 conference championships. Georgia with advantage here, given SEC. Since joining the SEC in 2012, A&M has never even made it to the Conf Championship game. 3) 25 Wins over the Past 2 Seasons. Tied with Ohio State for the Most Wins in past 2 years. Georgia a close 3rd with 24 wins. 4) 23 Players Selected in the NFL Draft. The most of any team over the past 2 years. 5) #1 Recruiting Class. First time Texas ranked #1 in Recruiting since the 2000s. 6) Pre-Season ESPN #1 on Football Power Index entering 2025 Season. https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi Some teams (e.g. TCU in 2023 or FSU in 2024) caught lightning in a bottle for one year but it's very different to see the foundation built and sustaining success, getting better YOY under Sark's leadership. If we go back 3 years, OMG, was it ugly during that 6-game losing streak? The seeds were being planted and players being developed back in 2021 and 2022 and the results have been paying off ever since on the field. Lots to be excited about going into this season and even more to be grateful for how far the Horns have come. Drinking the orange kool-aid on this Monday evening, July 7th with barely more than 50 days till kick-off against OSU. Hook em!! 🧡🤘🐂
