I assume you're in Austin. The job market is fairly tough right now because so many companies/places have laid off recently, especially in the tech field. What you do have at your disposal, is the ability to use AI. You can start the prompt by stating: I'm in [location] and I have an [degree] degree with [x] year of experience. I'm looking for [fill in]. Upload your resume and ask it to provide a list of available job postings you can apply to. You can further utilize it to come up with interview questions, tips, etc. Clean up your resume, write a cover letter, etc. It's crazy how AI has made that process so much easier.

Hi Everyone, Been here since the beginning, but I've never posted. I'm a UT grad and have been working as a teacher for a while. I was accepted to law school and was planning to attend until recent events changed that plan. I'm now left without a position for this year (was making a change with or without law school) and a little lost. Is anyone here willing to speak or possibly know of anyone legitimate job openings? Does this mean we lost Freeman to the draft?

As of right now I’d say it’s more for depth. He showed flashes as a freshman, but didn’t do too hot last year and was limited.

How does this project for Texas?

You’ll often see recruits say things like “Best in Texas stay in Texas” or the other version of “Best in Texas leave Texas” I think some get carried away with just looking at the composite rankings and going off of that. When actually looking at players from 2022-2024 and what they’ve actually done, I think Texas landed the best player from Texas in each of those 3 years. 2022: Cade Klubnik was the highest ranked recruit in Texas, and you could make the argument he is the best player, especially if he has a big year and becomes a top 5-10 pick. However, at the moment, I think the best player clearly has to be Kelvin Banks. A top 10 pick who was one of the best tackles in football for all 3 years in college. 2023: I don’t think there’s much to say here. DJ Hicks was the highest rated recruit in 2023, but it would be flat out wrong to say anyone other than Anthony Hill Jr. is the best player from that year. 2024: It’s pretty early to form concrete opinions on the 2024 class as they have only played one season. Justin Williams and DJ Lagway were the two highest ranked recruits. I think at the moment you have to give the nod to Colin Simmons as he had by far the best freshman season of any college player from Texas. DJ Lagway could end up as the number 1 overall pick one day and there’s a long way to go. As of now, Colin Simmons gets the top spot. 2025 will be fun to follow as Texas was STACKED with top end talent. Eight 5-stars overall with about 20 top-100 ranked players. Texas will once again have a great chance at producing another top talent with players like Jonah Williams, Kaliq Lockett, Kade Phillips, Lance Jackson, and more… In general, from 2022-2024, I think it’s safe to say that for the most part, Texas has proven that the best in Texas not only stay in Texas, but attend the University of Texas.

Texas is interested for sure. They have reached out to Chase. Texas has offered Reese Alston in same class.

The panel on SEC Network questions Texas' toughness in the trenches, and the overall toughness of the program. Says we look pretty, but they don't think we have a good foundation. It was a bit insulting, but man, Sark can use that kind of talk to send a message to his team.
