  1. Past hour
  2. If Sark's opening script doesn't work, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the game.
  3. Was just going to write basically this. I’m a little less harsh on Gilbeau. Sometimes the other guy makes a play. I’ll add some positives- Endries looked good. Baxter looked healthy. With him Wisner and the OL, this could end up being a really good running team. No injuries that I know of.
  4. It was revisited this past January. He’s out coaching himself at this point.
  5. Wingo keeps being hyped up as a top caliber WR yet we don’t design the ball into his hands? Same with Moore… they were non existent
  6. The block by 4 was amazing.
  7. No it wasn't. The QB couldnt hit wide open receivers and we ran the ball well. Should've had excellent balance. It's on Arch, not Sark.
  8. This team felt like a reflection of its head coach: a lot of belief that they could just roll in and win.
  9. Yes. Because we lost the game.
  10. Wingo has so much talent and it's being wasted. We need to figure out how to give him the ball more.
  11. Texas will be a much better team in 8 weeks. I am still very excited about this season and the prospects for a national championship. Once Arch settles down, becomes a game manager and works on his footwork for to improve his accuracy the offence will be fine.
  12. Anthony Hill Jr. says he knew what was coming on the 4th down conversion and just missed Donaldson in the hole.
  13. He and Wisner were pretty effective all game. Plus, Baxter is by far the best in pass pro. He stoned a rush from what I can recall in the game. I think Sark is always conservative with personnel early in season. I think Clark will get acclimated against the G5 schedule.
  14. Defense and punting was elite
  15. Ethan Burke says the goal of the Texas defense is to force three turnovers each game.
  16. Liona Lefau says it was unfortunate his hands hit the facemask of an OSU OL. Was trying to shed a block and his hands got too high.
  17. I love Baxter. He has come back from an awful lot. But how come nobody else got a shot? Baxter isn’t fast.
  18. Yep. And his lack of red zone prowess goes back to his days at the Falcons. It’s not a new thing. For all our portal acquisitions go get a damn fullback and run it up peoples ass inside the five. Nothing ever changes. It’s asinine.
  19. My two favorite CJs. Glad to see him healthy, his blitz pickup was huge.
  20. I can't wait to see Christian Clark play too. Also, Graceson Littleton was outstanding. He looked like one of the best players on the field as a true freshman. He definitely has the advertised quickness.
  21. I actually thought Joel Klatt described it best. The playcalling was static.
  22. CJ Baxter: "We will bounce back, it is a super long season."
  23. CJ Baxter says he felt comfortable back returning kicks and said the value of special teams in the program is key and he wanted to be a big piece of that third of the ball.
