If you’re like most fans, you don’t focus on the Oline but merely choose to do so on select plays. Domination likely occurs when you’re not looking. Your Tackle was your best guy then the other Tackle was generally more consistent than some of the others. You do realize it is rare to have such highly drafted RBs in the same backfield, right? Maybe helps the Oline. Notre Dame was down maybe their two best DTs. The others weren’t overly talented. Indiana? Come on. There’s a reason Texas was a more difficult game. And again Goosby sat in there with 100,000 Aggies on a line with multiple high draft picks and a former Big 10 badass pass rusher and did fine. But you won’t count that.

Yes, his athleticism is a huge difference between him and Taafe. -

More than anything, Downs' strength is his football IQ and how quickly he reacts. He is also one of the surest tacklers I have every seen come through Columbus. He just doesn't miss tackles. -

Taffe's an All-American, of course he's good. Caleb Downs is a top 10 NFL draft pick playing in college football. -
I'm going off of tape though. Go watch the Aggie game, the touchdown he saved against Arizona State, the play he made against Miss State playing from his safety position. He really is a difference maker. As a safety does Downs numbers come close? https://youtube.com/shorts/PFTO6VM3V5k?feature=shared

I agree with you, no doubt it was.....find me a game, any game where every holding infraction is flagged. Every fan base across the country always cherry picks a clip that show their guy being held and whines about it.....suck it up, don't whine, happens to everybody only the losers whine. BFD go play.... BTW, Simmons is a monster and I expect him to have a major impact on Saturday. He'll have plenty of eyeballs on him, he's a game wrecker

No, Ohio State's offensive line dominated their defensive lines. Ohio State could have scored 70 against Tennessee if they wanted, ran right through Oregon and Notre Dame, due to the clean pockets the OL created, and the running lanes they created for Judkins and Henderson. -
Those guys did not dominate those teams. Your teams did. If you don’t win it all this year, will your tune change to well maybe it was something else that won it? Again, many Horn fans will tell you that you are fortunate Williams played over Goosby. That might have been enough to enable us to say national champs. That’s how narrow it is.

I'll be honestly, I didn't even know the name of Klare until he committed to Ohio State. And Ohio State even played Purdue last season. But everybody keeps telling me he is an elite TE so I'm excited to see it lol -

That is certainly a homer comment, and an opinion that nobody outside of maybe you and a few others in the UT fan base would hold if they actually had a chance to pick one of the two safeties, but I've made plenty of homer comments, so I don't judge you. -

I get it, but you need to know (you in general, not you literally) which practice reports you throw out and which ones to listen to. Pay attention to how the players react when certain names are brought up, or is there one consistent player a certain coach, or all of the coaches keep bringing up all off season, especially when unprompted. Also pay attention to position battles and how quickly they are won or lost. As far as Siereveld goes, Ohio State gives out what they call the "Iron Buckeye" aware for winter and spring lifting and general weight room competitions. Seireveld was an Iron Buckeye in the winder, and again in the spring and then won the starting LT position very quickly over Ethan Onianwa. On top of multiple coaches saying Siereveld has been playing very well. -

Quinn holds a special place in my heart. He was the first major recruit I ever really followed. He also brought this program out from a very dark place. He wasn't the perfect QB, but he is an all-time Horn. -

Julian Sayin is the #1 question mark I am most excited about learning about on Saturday, #2 is what a Matt Patricia D looks like. I'm expecting a lot of exotic blitzes and simulated pressures against that new look OL.
