  1. Past hour
  2. You going in the paint with Cam Williams standing there? No thanks
  3. I’ve seen several throws like this where Arch is hesitant to throw though he keeps staring down the receiver. We were lucky that Wisner scored at all against FL. Quinn showed the same hesitation last year. I just assumed he was gun shy because of injuries. Maybe there’s something else.
  4. Cam Williams you say? Man you weren’t kidding about NFL players going back to college 😉
  5. I mean it’s heading to where if somebody plays two years of college and then decide to declare but they aren’t drafted they’ll have the option to come back for 3 years. Was there ever an update on the 5 years to play ? Also we already have 28 year old QBs
  6. I'd love to see what QB would be successful behind this OL. Blaming this all on Arch is just asinine.
  7. So, basically the two situations are nothing alike.
  8. Texas didn't bring them in for OV. They will go to USC Texas is all in on Austin Goosby and Cameron Williams.
  9. For sure there are. But I could see a scenario where they ultimately lose in court in a few years IMO, and an NFL player will end up being able to go play in "college" unless the NFL and NCAA/colleges get together relatively quickly and solidify the future. I guess where I come out is college sports is no longer amateur. It's pro sports now. If they are both professional, not sure a court case couldn't be won eventually - even if drafted.
  10. @Gerry Hamiltonhow you feeling on the twin bigs that are announcing tomorrow?
  11. Yeah I don’t really see the difference here between G League player and overseas pro when in both cases a player doesn’t declare for the draft and/or isn’t drafted into the league. Not sure how this translates to a player declaring for the NFL, getting drafted, and then trying to go back to school. There are precedent rules in place to prevent this from happening but I guess the NCAA can truly lose any case at this point
  12. We were 6-4 in each of the prior three seasons before Bradley changed positions.
  13. Don't believe so. It's because the NCAA is allowing players from overseas pro leagues who were paid professionals to be eligible for NCAA basketball.
  14. This is only because the Ignite is no longer a G-League team, correct?
  15. Today
  16. I am ill informed about the time period, but I have to imagine DKR had a much better OL (relative to the time period) to work with than Sark and Arch currently have (again relative to their time period)
  17. What an absolute mess. With the amount of flame outs in the NBA this is gonna be a headache. Guys like Dariq Whitehead, a top HS product 1 and done at Duke late first round pick who was just cut might be more valuable to a college team than Euro league. Crazy.
  18. Yep. Scrimmage at TCU coming up Saturday as the final warmup
  19. Only a matter of time until some guys on NFL taxi squads of cut from NFL teams try and take it to court to be able to return to college if their eligibility clock says they can.
  20. With all the high number of international players looking to come to college hoops to cash in on NIL contracts better than their pro deals, the NCAA is now ruling eligibility by what would be a NCAA clock vs. having been paid to play professional sports. College athletics is now pro sports due to NIL, so no stopping it in the future IMO.
